We've had this toaster now for around 4 years and it's never missed a beat. Positives are that it toasts quite evenly, though for me only the higher settings are useful. I still find it interesting that the toast lowers slowly into the toaster and then raises automatically at the end. This toaster will handle fairly thick bread and crumpets, and has settings for frozen etc. If you have a modern kitchen the red colour might suit your taste. The negatives of this toaster are the long toasting time, I feel this toaster is pretty slow to brown your...
Read more bread, and worst of all is the very loud beep when the toast is done. I hate this feature and wish there was some way to switch it off. I'm usually the first person up in our house and the loud beep is unwelcome at 6:30am. All in all it's been a reliable toaster, if you can live with the beep!
Purchased in May 2016 at Myer.
I like to eat whole grain dense bread such as vogels and find this as with most toasters cant toast it in one go, have to re toast it. I was told this was a great toaster but its elements have got more patchy as it gets older and it toasts very unevenly after 3 years. I expect longer and better quality from a top end brand
Purchased at Harvey Norman for $200.
Takes far too long to toast compared to much cheaper toasters I’ve used. Maximum setting is not long enough. Patchy toasting as the elements operate unevenly. Toast too low to collect. End up having to use a fork so I don’t burn my fingers!
Purchased in May 2022 for $280.

Nothing very special about this toaster. It is overly large compared to the majority of toasters on the market, so storage will be a concern. The display stays on far too long after completion of toasting which equates to energy wastage. The audible beep at the completion of toasting is just a tad too loud - I am comparing it to the Kitchen Aid kettle, that is much quieter. Timing knob controls are 'sloppy' to the touch - maybe require a better 'snap-to-time' feel. This toaster just says... Made in China... without a lot of Kitchen Aid quality ...
Read morecontrol being present. The User Manual details 'Care and Cleaning' but in a limited manner. It states... 'For detailed information on cleaning the toaster visit our website. Why the heck even print a manual (paper wastage) when you are asking users to go to a website.Purchased in April 2020 at Harvey Norman for $289.

My toaster trips RCD when I press the toast down button. It does this on both sides. It is fairly new maybe less than 2 years and not used much.
