I was going to buy this product and give the second one to my friend but after reading the reviews here I wont bother. The Kleva explanation given here is not satisfactory........I would have expected much better from you shame on your company for lying because up till now I respected Kleva Products I would actually like a comprehensive reply from a real person and not the standard reply you have given to the above customers that have asked the same question.

Hi, I purchased the duster awhile back. I have an old house with high ceilings so the duster is great for the cornices. I also use it for other areas of the house and find it is really good. You do need to take it out side now and again to shake off the dust.
I gave my 2nd one to a friend and she is really happy with it as well.

Hi Victoria,

We have been selling the Miracle Magnetic Duster for over 4 years and have sold 100,000s Australia-wide with amazing customer feedback and many repeat purchases. As I’m sure you can imagine all of our products go through extensive testing before we are allowed to advertise them on national television.

The response to the previous questions is our standard trouble shooting for the duster should it lose its static charge, which is common especially in damper climates which most of Australia has experienced recently. Any customers who have received a faulty product we are always happy to replace immediately at our cost.

We do not ask our customers to review our products on this platform, however you can see of 800+ positive reviews from verified buyers on our website. We understand that you have chosen not to purchase based on customer feedback on this platform, however we strongly disagree with any statement that we have lied in any way to our customers.

On the add it shows shaking dust Off after using. How is this possible as it attracts the dust

Excellent question. Mine did not attract dust and I suspect the ads are misleading. In my case a total waste of money.

The duster attracts and holds dust using an electrostatic charge. Due to the size of dust particles the charge is strong enough to hold them to the duster, however can easily be removed by giving it a good, strong shake outside.

If you are finding the that the duster is not attracting dust, you just need to increase the static charge by running over a TV, fridge or washing machine.

Is the duster magnetic or electrostatic?
I need to know as I have a pacemaker and cannot be close to magnets.

Mine wasn't. It didn't work and it was impossible to replicate what you see in the ads. There is certainly no magnet involved. Waste of money.

Hi Jill,

The duster uses an electrostatic charge to attract the dust like a magnet, it does not contain any magnets itself.

If you are finding the duster is not attracting dust you will just need to increase the static charge, to do this we recommend running the duster over a TV, fridge or even washing machine.

Please let us know if we can assist you further :-)

Why do you publish so much adverse, but apparently feasible, criticism? No wonder the world is in such, an apparent, mess!!

Sorry but your comment makes no sense and is not helpful to others and I hardly think product reviews is shaping the world. I suggest you look at the site you are publishing on, it's about product reviews. If your experience is bad then say so and if it's great say so. It helps others making decisions. It also helps the company become better because if people don't comment then they don't know how to fix things. If enough people say something then maybe it will change. Simple.

It made no difference what I did to mine, and I tried many things - they did not work. They actually spread dust and it bright sunshine I could see dust coming off the thing.
It is not magnetic. Save your money. The adds are totally misleading.
I buy dusters for $2.50 that do a better job.

as per stewpot's answer and no you don't they're supposed to be ready to go but completely useless, buy one from Bunnings for a couple of dollars, does a better job

If it's magnetic, how do you clean the actual duster, after attracting all the dust ?

I simply shake the duster outside first then wipe it with a damp cloth to get rid of the dust.
BTW Actually the mechanism for this duster is electrostatic, not magnetic. (explained in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrostatics),
