I bought the anko 28litre microwave yesterday 2nd dec 2022. Before I take it back today or tomorrow could I be doing something wrong. Set it up last night to cook our rice in. It went for the time when it was finished the rice never cooked it didnt work. I have checked the book but is it me or did I get a faulty microwave.

U need to remember to alter the cook time to match the wattage of the microwave... For sure this AIN'T a 1000watter. Anything over 4m8ns means that it pulses in weak/strong rotation, thereby 3min +3min will be more cooked than 6min,. Good luck
The rice had 18 min and was still cold and didnt cook. So I would say the microwave has an issue

Hello, I was wondering if either of these features are present:
1. Lamp automatically turns off after a few minutes when the door is left open.
2. Lamp can be manually turned off while the door is open, without having to turn off the mains power.
