small, efficient, sleek. Display is too dim to see
Usually those displays are bright red, but not this one. One does need to squint to read it, or put on magnifying glasses, so that’s “poor person” annoying. And the font on each button is miniscule too. The internal height is quite low, my coffee cup often hits the top, spilling. Heat is good, works well, most important thing has been ticked. The design of microwave is sleek and clean. Vents are ontop meaning, nothing can sit on top of microwave, if microwave sits on bench, this is way too tempting. Certainly good value for money, my last microwave at similar price range lasted 4 yrs. Lets hope for another 4!

Imploded on about the 4th or 5th use.
Bought on the 26th April 2020. Used a few times then imploded while cooking chicken on recommended settings. Daughter and I were in the kitchen then heard a loud bang from microwave, food was covered in glass. Luckily it imploded and not exploded. And there was no auto shutdown.

Good value but questionable reliability
We got this bad boy in April 2022 for $130
A few issues i didn't like straight out of the box:
There is a clock function but no way to set the time.
There is no timer function on the microwave !!!
Other than that the microwave worked really well. The convection option was attractive for small meals as it only took 2 minutes to heat up compared to a full size oven.
Then last week the microwave stopped heating. everything seemed like it was working but it just wasn't heating anything up. So we took it back and we were 2 weeks past the warranty date (it has a 12 month warranty) and Kmart gave us a full refund anyway.

Average for daily use
the Microwave fan continues to for least a minute even after the timer is complete. it is so irritating. I know it is to clear the smell, but even after doing that the smell still remains of the last heated meal.
also in less then a year the light bulb blew up.

you Get what you pay for
I don’t understand the rave reviews, this machine spends more time wasting electricity than it does cooking, the machine doesn’t heat food most of the time, I guess you get what you pay for

This is a great little micro/convection oven
The last one we bought was a trooper, moved multiple houses and lasted for 10 years, this one is even better, easy to use, easy to set the time and just a great little machine.
It's such great value for money, less than half the price of the other brands, I'm very happy with it.

Works fine but can’t change the time
The microwave and convection settings both work perfectly well. Sturdy machine. Only issue I have with it is that it shows the time but there’s no way to actually set the time. When you turn it on, it displays as 1am. Unless I get up and switch the microwave off & on at 1am, it will never display the correct time. Frustrating but I’ve learned not to look at the time any more. Everything else works perfectly.
When it’s done, it does beep at you repeatedly until you open the door so if that’s something you don’t like then this microwave isn’t for you. It beeps a few times then stops for a few minutes. Then repeat until you open it or press cancel.

Great value for money
I have always had a convection microwave, spent big money on them, and when our last one died a few weeks ago looked online and then in store. I looked at Kmart first (really looking for beaters but came across the microwaves) then Harvey Norman, and spent nearly an hour on the phone looking at reviews and pondering which one to buy. I tossed up between an $800 one and the Kmart one. Reading a review that the Kmart one was better than some of the $1000 brands I went with this. First time I used it thought what have I done buying this! It i...Read more
s a lot noisier and then has a cooling down fan which goes for a couple of minutes. If you can get past this it is a really good for the price and warranty. I have used the convection part (all my previous convection ovens kept the same tray in so I have to remember to put the convection tray in) and defrosted and no complaints with these. I see a couple of people have issues with setting things but I usually check, open the door as I go along so dont really find it a problem. It really is great value for the low price. I have only given four stars because of the cool down fan but for something that is so low in price I really would recommend it.Purchased in September 2021 at Kmart Horsham for A$139.00.

Highly recommend
I bought this convection microwave in May 2022 and I couldn’t be happier.
I use it instead of my big oven for anything requiring 200C or less, roast vegetables, reheating pies and quiches etc. because it doesn’t heat the whole kitchen.
It is so simple to operate the convection oven, the grill and the microwave. Defrosting is perfect. And it’s easy to clean.
The only hassle is the time on the clock can’t be adjusted. You have to switch the oven on and off at 1 o’clock. They may have sorted that by now! Apart from that I would recommend this oven without hesitation.

The convection oven doesn't heat after the initial heating. Tried jacket potatoes and it made the sounds but didn't maintain 200c after 30 mins the potatoes were still raw. It's new but I read the manual. Is there something I don't know or is it falty. I bought it cause my oven is broken.
