My daughter got one of these for Christmas and it won’t charge? I can’t find receipt

I’ve got no answer to help you, but having a similar problem myself. Mine will charge, but won’t turn on. Also got for Xmas- no receipt and no box due to throwing it away as I didn’t expect it to not work. *facepalm*.
Would love to hear if and when you solve your problem! Maybe someone will know how to reset and then it’ll work for the both of us!
