Lowering Phone Charging Frustrations
I broke my beloved phone and now using one with very short battery life, so I purchased this portable charger on a whim as it seemed a cheap gamble. It charges the phone faster than on mains power (or maybe seems that way because I am no longer anchored down when recharging). It is lightweight, has a torch built in and 2 outlets. Main issue is that it lacks any instructions. I found the torch by accident (long-press the button to toggle on and off) and that you have to press the button to instigate a charge and also to start recharging the cha...Read more
rger. Charging this device is by putting small connector into the side and large end into a regular USB charging outlet. Charging a phone is by reversing the cord and using one of its USB outlets on top, small end into phone - and pressing the button. It would have been good to have instructions, but it works. The other accidental benefit is that when I put it into a soft glasses pouch, which also accommodated the phone and keeps them together while charging, my phone was then out of sight, and out of mind. I forgot it, wasn't tempted to look at it... so I accidentally found out how to make life more peaceful! (I am still aware of calls & smses via a Smart Watch and a Bluetooth headband - which I reviewed previously.)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi there I just brought one of these and I can't seem to charge it I press the button on the side and it brings up the battery % but that disappeared after a few seconds and it's not charging

Small end of cord into the small socket on left side of unit, larger USB end into a standard phone charger or other suitable USB outlet. When charger is turned on, unit will charge without needing to press anything. If not, try another cord, or else return it to the store. Try charging a phone directly with your cord & charger to see that they are ok.
