Absolute rubbish
Smart my ..... this is the absolute worst television and the remote is not user friendly. My remote didn't work from day one. The television is apparently not compatable with any app or programme. If I had the money I would buy a new tv but not everyone has that luxury. SO, I'm stuck with a lemon which we paid good money for and bought in good faith. The customer service is atrocious and not at all helpful. At the same time we also bought a 32inch of the same breed, it's exactly the same. s don't work I have been in my own business and if I sold a customer a product that was inferior I would replace it as my reputation would be more valuable. Obviously this is not the case with Kogan. They don't give a dam about the consumer just turnover If I could give a zero star I would Please don't by their products you will be sorry.Purchased in May 2021 for A$800.00.

Beyond words.....USELES
I agree with a previous reviewer that a class action is needed. I wish I had read reviews before. This would have to be the biggest waste of money in a long time. I have spent literally hours trying to get netflix to work only to realise its not compatible... are you serious? Other apps are slow to load if at all.
Now, it has completely died. Just like that. Ready for hard rubbish collection and off to buy a samsung.
Kogan, I will never buy anything from you!

This is the worst TV so not buy it they sold me an incompatible sound bar and TV has no optic fibre
Not a smart TV at All had a professional come to in stall and hook it up and he couldn't believe it either very poor bad picture no optic outlet can't get Netflix or stan hopeless Very bad want my $ back Do not waste your money or your time spend the extra and get something worth while

Less than 2 years old & it's cactus
we have had this for just shy of two years and over the last few weeks, it has been playing up....not turning on, not accepting the input mode etc. Now we just have a white screen with the Kogan logo. We have called and emailed but no response from Kogan. For an item that was close $1000, this is shocking. I will not buy from them again.

aking to Kogan last week (I rang them, they did not reply to my emails) it is clear that because the tv is out of its one year warranty, nothing will be done to rectify the situation. I am going to put the tv on the nature strip and hope that someone picks it up, believing (wrongly) that they may be able to fix it. I will never buy from Kogan again.Ross x.Kogan

Don't bother buying this underpowered rubbish smart TV. Save your time, frustration and money. Buy a known brand. Android is old and the system is underpowered, no way to set the tv to default load on start, you have to wait 4 mins for it to start. Complete junk do not buy.

What a joke. Never again shall I buy a so called smart TV. I do better using my laptop to watch Netflix. Installed the app from the google play store and I have a nice logo sitting on my smart tv that doesn't work. Incompatibility trash. I don't want warranty I want a smart tv. Get your act together Kogan and get this app happening for Kogan tvs ..contact the app developers and start moving at techno speed not snail speed. Be a step ahead in the marketplace instead of 2 steps behind. This nonsense travels fast because I paid good money and can't even watch the most popular tv streaming in the world on your tv.

Abbsolute crap
I've been an electronics technician for about 45 years, yes I have seen some poor products in that time, this particular unit is the worst I have seen. Don't worry about releasing a software up grade for this useless piece of equipment KOGAN, its the forst and last thing I will purchase from you !

Great picture, horrible 'Smart' TV
The 55 inch LED Smart TV from Kogan has a great picture but the Android computer is under powered and struggles to allow you to perform basic tasks like switching channels. The TV takes about 60 seconds to boot up before it will even recognise any input from the remote.
The remote is very clunky and has to have direct line of site to TV for any response.
The TV randomly locks up and randomly reboots.
The TV loses the date and time settings when you switch off at the power point and cannot always pickup the correct date and time from the WiFi/Internet connection which plays havoc with the electronic program guide. The inbuilt video recorder works sometimes and sometimes only records half the program.
A very frustrating device.

NOT a Smart TV - just a slow tablet with a big screen
Main problem? It's not actually a smart tv at all.
It's a tv running an old version of android and thinks it's a tablet. And when running android functions it's painfully slow. I can't believe it really has the processor specs it says it does, given how slow and clunky it is. It freezes, apps run so slow they're constantly offering to kill them if you don't want to wait, it's just painful.

Not So Smart TV
Purchased this TV so i could watch ABC Iview and SBS on demand and it doesn't work, freezes up wont update day date and time so guide is usually one day behind and time continually changes .
These TV"s need a program update or firmware upgrade or be refunded .

Can I connect a Nintendo Wii to my smart TV? I am using the red, white and yellow cables but the TV is saying No Signal. I have switched the Wii on and off and it's still saying the same thing. I also cannot connect my DVD player to this TV either, I am using the HDMI cable but it is also saying No Signal. I have never experienced problems like this with any other TV I have purchased.
