I also have this model that will not move from its white background with the Kogan logo?
Has anyone had any response from Kogan? Is this reparable?
It's only a couple of years old -I would expect a $1000 TV to last longer than that!!!

Have just bought a Kogan 50'KALED50LU8010STA. Tried to connect it to Foxtel. All I get is NO SIGNAL. Have sent 3 emails to Kogan. No response other than someone would be in contact. Now waited 4 days. My question was. Is this model compatible with Foxtel? Can someone out there advise. Not impressed with this lot.

I had an Agora 49 inch, had a problem new out of the box somethings didn't work; from memory it was the antenna plug. Kogan gave me instructions over the phone how to do a firmware update. I think it was in the settings then everything worked. Yes I had the Foxtel box plugged to it and it worked.

Yes, I had to do the update as soon as I got it, by contacting Kogan they will send the instructions from memory it is done through the tv's settings. I can't find them otherwise would send to you,

Hi Johnny D you have to go online with Kogan help line, you arn't able to talk to a person, will you be able to get the firmware if you are out of waranty sorry I don't know, I think you will need to make sure it is ok for your model tv as it could cause more problems, it is a process to install I needed help but it is doable.

Can I connect a Nintendo Wii to my smart TV? I am using the red, white and yellow cables but the TV is saying No Signal. I have switched the Wii on and off and it's still saying the same thing. I also cannot connect my DVD player to this TV either, I am using the HDMI cable but it is also saying No Signal. I have never experienced problems like this with any other TV I have purchased.

I have opened google play store to down load BigPond movies app. play store says I need to authenticate and to sign into my google account. There is no where I can sign in?
I have signed into google on the browser but still can't get into play store, help me please Julie

Yes, if you open the Play Store you need to put in your gmail address and password to set up a user account, in order to download apps.
Note that some apps won’t be available or won’t work on this TV.
Recommend you get another box, like Apple TV, or Chromecast etc rather than use the poor “smart” tv as per my original post.r

I have been using the google play store previously with no issues, it just keeps saying I need to authenticate my account but I cant get past that page.

Are you asking for an upgrade or an update. If you mean upgrade I would go to Kogan again, If it is an update you should be able to get it on the internet using your smart TV. Gordon

kogan does not have a update for KALED42SMTZA on their web page - I am trying to get help from the online support but they haven't helped with a update or upgrade that works as yet.

when i try to watch movies on SHOW BOX on my smart TV some versions say " no free space on SD" is this normal? Im not downloading just trying to watch them. Can anyone recommend a good site to watch movies from?

Hi Billy, that's a bit unusual. Please ensure the TV is connected to the internet, then give it a power cycle by turning it off at the wall for a few minutes. If the Netflix app still doesn't load up properly, please try uninstalling it by going into Settings > Apps. You can then reinstall the Netflix app by following the instructions on this page: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/12983

Stuck on white screen with kogan logo, contacted support team, followed every step, been without a tv for 6 months now, nothing will work, have tried the firmware update on 8 different usb’s, replaced batteries, formatted usb’s countless times, shut it down as directed and still nothing will work, i have been advised to ship it back at my own cost and that i will not get a refund.
Someone help please

First I’d try a power cycle:

Then I’d try a factory reset:
https://www.kogan.com/au/help/factory-reset-3dz-series-tvs/

I think that’s for your model

Then I would ask support to send you the correct firmware file and follow the directions to upgrade.

But I’m surprised that support couldn’t help you through this.

My tv is just under 3 years old has decided not to work at just comes up with the white background with Kogan Logo. The "help" website is useless as it says to contact the help line which is closed. on the website in the q&a it says there is an update but I am unable to locate them on the website. could someone please help!!!!

Sorry to hear about this the issue with your TV. In some cases this can be resolved by reinstalling the TV's firmware. If you get in touch with us directly we'll be able to provide you with the firmware file and the the installation instructions.
