How often are people having to empty their tanks? I've been having to empty mine 2-3 times a night with the heater on 20-22, degrees is this normal?

I want to run my 4.1kw kogan portable AC from a generator--how do I find out which generator can do this?

I have had my units for 4 years and can’t fault it but recently it has started to blow warm air when on cooling mode, any idea what could be wrong, regulator or do these units require regasing?

I recently purchased Kogan 18,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner and the drainage container fills up in about 20mins and shuts the machine down. Any ideas?

Can someone please explain why this piece of crap is shutting down and displaying FL on the panel. I have tried to drain the water from the back but there is literally NOTHING in there. Really not happy as the the unit is less than a month old.

Hi, I am using the the heater function and the is no water coming out of the plug from the condenser . It was working for a few months and now has stop coming out. Any ideas?

I’m trying to use the unit in heat mode but it’s pumping super cold air out of the back vent so ends up making the room colder. How can I stop the cold air out of the back vent?

Can anyone tell me about "sleep mode" when it reaches the desired temperature should the compressor just shut down and the fan keep running at the set speed or what? My compressor shuts off but the fan still runs at the set speed, I would have thought the fan would slow down as well?

Hi, could anybody answer the following issues? I have bought one Kogan 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner a few months ago, it worked well in the winter. But when I tried it last week, it only has heat air (I pressed the cooling button). I tried several times but no cool air at all. Is there somewhere I can put coolant?

Hi, my unit no longer shuts down/sleeps when it reaches the ambient temperature. It just stays on continually until you turn it off. Is there are setting somewhere or is this a faulty unit?

Hi could anybody answer the following please. Just a little history first, one night last winter we had an electric heater fire that came out of know where! I remember asking the head fireman what would be a safe heater to purchase. He ratteled off a whole lot of heaters that he hated, he had obviously been called out to many home heater fires. In the end he said to move to the Northern Territory which is not an option, Brisbane is home for us. I am seriously looking at the kogan reverse cycle air conditioner. To cool and heat our open plan lounge dining kitchen (villa) we only have a pedestal fan for cooling in this area and it can get so darn hot/humid in brisbane. Firstly can anyone tell me of any fire risk that has been detected withe this unit? Secondly is this unit with the hose etc easily portable to be moved and set up in our two bedrooms as necessary? We have just started using our portable air conditioner 14 000 that got us through summer only 8 months ago, without any problems. However, this time, after a few days of using it, it is making a rattling sound from the back of the system. Is there anything you would suggest we do to fix the rattling?

when i turn mine to heat mode the unit stops and goes silent and no heat comes out what could this issue be ?
