Will not let me adjust picture settings, its pissing me right off as the factory settings are awful....if I can't then I'll be demanding a refund as its no good for gaming which I thought it would improve....kogan better sort this issue out as I've purchased many items recently and this has been the only product to let me down
I just worked out why it wasn't allowing me to adjust the settings,i read the online manual and when I read user settings I clicked and realised settings can only be adjusted in user mode, and kogan t...

(EDITED: 4/09/19 From 4 stars to 1 star. TV broke down almost exactly a year after the purchase date.
Kogan were pretty good with a refund/replacement. But, because the TV broke down I must give 1 star only.)
I echo most of the complaints on the page about this TV.
The biggest problem was not being able to watch YouTube properly.
The TV sometimes freezes at the start of YouTube ads.
I managed to solve the problem by inputting an adblock DNS on my router.
I can confirm the speakers crackling at the start of a video but the crackling goes away pretty fast....
Read more I noticed the customer support were not at all informed of the products they are selling. Kogan's support told me (multiple times) that there's an OFF switch on the TV itself. Thorough inspection of the TV proved this false. I informed them about this multiple times, but they ignored it. You can check for yourself and see if the model KALED49MU8010SZA has an OFF switch on the TV itself. Kogan's customer support do not read emails in their entirety. I sent them an email telling them that I have managed to solve a problem with the TV, but now I wanted warranty information. They responded "That's great that you have managed to solve the problem with the TV" but they did not respond to the warranty question. Being fair, they did respond to the question when I brought it up again. In short; I do not completely regret the purchase, but I would only recommend this TV to someone who has a reasonable level of tech skills to solve the problems that the TV comes with. I gave the TV 3 stars because I only paid (including delivery) $575.79 for it. I went into a local store and looked at a 49" Panasonic and it's price tag was around $1500 and it didn't even have Smart TV. Price matters and for that reason I will shop at Kogan again. 11/11/18 Edited: I added 1 star to the review. After some period of time the TV stopped having the problem of freezing on YouTube. Which is great. I don't know why after some months the TV started to work properly...

Really great TV but sometimes the 'smart' aspect of the television is not actually very smart. It can get frustrating to use at times but it is all made up for the amazing picture quality and sound that the TV gives. Overall a pretty good product, I would recommend as a cheaper television.

Colours are very inaccurate. Blue seems to be purple. Kogan has let me down. Never had a problem till i purchased this. Will be looking for something a bit dearer unfortunately. Will go TCL. Kogan has very poor customer service. Never ever will purchase from them again. Have to look elsewhere. Don't even think about buying from Kogan.

Terrible, can't access netflix or other apps, keeps dropping out of wifi and freezes up
Not satified with operating system, customer service is ok but can be very difficult if you are not tech savvy. Does not connect with netflix or other apps correctly, system freezes, have to reboot continually. Will be negotiating for either a replacement tv or a full refund at Kogans delivery costs if these problems continue.
Seriously disappointed with purchase of this set.the colours are washed and dark even with a 4k player does not make much difference on image in fact a normal hd tv produces better quality picture.
Do yourself a favour and spend a bit more for a quality tv.
Kogan tv's are trash
This is far from a smart TV. The picture is a disgrace and I'm not referring to 4K resolution as I know most shows are not in 4K. Just the quality is awful. The sound is so bad that I have to put the subtitles on to watch it at night when my partner sleeps. #9 is barely able to hear and the jump in volume for #10 is RIDICULOUS! There is NO browser which is absolutely unacceptable for a so called WiFi connected TV. I have contacted customer service because I want to return it and I have been ignored. I provided model # and everything required fo...
Read morer a 'quicker resoinse". Time to go to Current Affair. How Kogan continues to get away with pushing out BADLY made TV's is beyond me. Every review, every YouTube video are the same.. Bad, worst TV, Does Kogan make the worst TV in the world was one title. Shame on you Kogan! Shame on the false advertising of the TV on late night TV and shame on the English woman on channel 9 who also does the Thin Lizzy stuff. I'm fed up.Related Articles
I wasn't expecting much when i bought this.
Firstly i bought this mainly to use with my computer setup, at 1080p thru hdmi i could not turn off the overscan which meant i could only see half of my taskbar on Microsoft Windows which made navigation fairly difficult but the image scaled properly in 4k (3840×2160).
When connected to my pc the colors were pretty good but watching tv thru the inbuilt tuner the color felt very bland.
When it came to gaming thru a pc make sure you go into the tv settings and change the hdmi settings from 2k to ...
Read more4k to unlock the 4k 60hz otherwise it will be stuck on 30hz which would only give 30fps, the input lag wasn't too bad as I've seen some TVs make games very difficult to play, this was in acceptable limits. The 9ms response time on led pixels could be a bit better as fast motion images can tend to look a bit blurry. Now when it comes to HDR this feature is 100% useless, once turned on the image becomes absolutely disgusting. It looks like the image is almost polarized, the whites become a dark grey and the dark areas become bright grey, it just becomes a grey mess with some faded colors thrown in. Audio quality was a little better than expected, not as tinny as i thought it would be so I'd say it's acceptable for the price.- 4 reviews

Pretty underwhelmed. First 4K tv and the colours are very washed out. Spent all day trying to get the contrast, brightness, colour sorted and still looks below average. Even on 100% colour still very dull.
The speakers sound tinny and are actually annoying to listen to.
The smart tv option was sold as being able to watch on demand tv. The only on demand that works is abc and sbs. 7, 9 and 10 don't work.
I own other older Kogan tv's which were great. Unfortunately not happy with this one.
