Happy with the purchase
Purchased mine in August last year and have not had any issues. Picture quality is better than expected.
Only negative is the lack of installable apps but I have managed just fine.
Purchased in August 2021 at Kogan.com for A$599.00.

Suprisingly Good!
Bought last month after purchasing and returning a different 55"tv from a different company. Upon receiving the Kogan 55" tv I was more than satisfied after the experience I had just had. Fastforward 5 weeks on and I am still happy with the tv.
Considering the price, you cant expect it to be as clear or fast as a high-end tv which you would pay triple the price for. But for what it costs and how it performs, I cant complain.
The remote to tv sensor is about half a second delayed, but you get used to it. The tv colour is slightly, only slightly ...Read more

Not perfect, but good enough and smarter.
Have got this TV from Kogan as replacement, my previous Kogan Smart 4K KU 8000 was broken one month ago and diagnosed by specialists as non-repairable :-(
What I have now....
1. Operating system-Ok and all advertised applications do exist. Easy setup.
2. Remote control is responsive and convenient. I like YouTube and Netflix buttons.
3.No Bluetooth, but Wireless connectivity is Ok, easy 5 minutes setup.
4. 3 HDMI + 2 usb functional ports, satisfied with digital audio output.
5. Picture is good enough (for such money, of course), brightness could be better
6. TV was advertised as having HDR.... but not sure.
7. I still have 1.5 years of extended warranty!
Purchased in April 2021 at Kogan.com for A$539.00.

Excellent TV
This TV was simple to setup. Its default settings for sound and colour are great needing no adjustment. The picture quality is very good and the sound is excellent. The remote is very robust and the TV is very responsive to it. While 3 HDMI ports is minimal one of them is an ARC which could be useful. It is not as smart as my previous Kogan TV in that apps cannot be added to the operating system so it lacks Stan and SBS for example. I particularly miss the lack of DLNA server
There is an extensive manual online but not the usual pdf which may be a problem when the model is superseded
Having said all that I am very pleased with the TV at an outstanding price.

This is a bad TV with quite a few issues
(I have had this TV for less than a month now, delivered on 28/12/2018)
First of all I will say the picture quality of this TV is very good for the price point, it certainly is better than my old Samsung TV, same can be said for the sound. I am sure if you compared it to a more expensive brand TV you would find flaw, but coming from and old 1080p TV it is better by far, especially if you give it a good quality 4K source. Also gaming on this TV is very good, very responsive compared to my old TV.
Having said that it was about a week before I ...Read more
started to notice the cracks appearing in this TV's quality. - Intermittently when I play any kind of game, through my Xbox or Computer with HDR enabled a thin bright white line will appear along the bottom of the TV at first taking up half the screen, but the longer I play the longer the line gets. The only way to get rid of the line is too turn off HDR and then turn it back on. - Issue number two, when playing any kind of video content over HDMI the screen will go black, there will still be sound, just no picture, the only way I have been able to get it back is to turn the TV source Free To Air TV and then back again. Also this problem is intermittent at the moment.Purchased in December 2021 at Kogan.com for A$579.00.

Questions & Answers
Candice K.asked
Can apps be added to the tv? When we got it, we were under the assumption that they could, and have found no way to add them. We would like Disney + and Stan for our toddler. Thanks
1 answer
Cannot add apps, they have another model with google play which you can. But unfortunately not this one. Only the ones preloaded.
