We ordered blinds last August still no blockout blind in the kitchen. They tell you they will call back but never do we were told the blind was on its way so we called them to find out the progress & found out it’s in the factory.Called again & l was told it was installed why would we be so angry if this was installed. Many calls later we are now told to take a photo of the blind that was installed & here we go again we have to prove the blockout blind wasn’t installed. It’s been an absolute disaster from go to WOE. One time we were told the blind was in Perth what really annoys me is the lack of service & incompetence
After taking the morning of work, moving furniture for easy access and waiting half an hour for salesman to arrive, I gave Kresta a call to ask how far away the salesman was, only to be told he was not coming. As soon as this was known someone should have cancelled or rescheduled all of this gentleman’s appointments. People get sick etc, I understand this. How hard is it for someone to pick up the phone and let me know. Lots of other companies in the market place, won’t be using Kresta. When will companies realise that customer service is important?

I had to wait a bit for my plantation shutters to be custom made. But with Theo installing them, once they finally were here from America, what a legend. Best installation guy you'll ever find for custom made blinds. Thanks so much Theo. Expert job!!!

Lovely sales rep sold us honey comb blinds in April which were installed in June/July and then August as one blind came without the wand and had to be replaced. 24 hours after installation the wand was malfunctioning on the larger window and we arranged for it to be looked at when the August blind arrived. He fixed it, however it needed a lot of jiggling to get it to open correctly, and continued to be difficult to use. Now, January, the same wand has stuffed up totally and I am informed that if I pay $83.00 they will send someon...

The blinds, as we understood, were 24 months warranty and nowhere on our paperwork is it stated that the wands attract only a 3 month warranty. What does THAT tell you?? Very angry. Would not have ordered wands had we known. February 11th 2017 Update: From bad to worse. To continue my case of a malfunctioning wand on cellular blind (I had purchased 12) where they want to charge me $83 for a man to come out and look at it after 6months when the wand was malfunctioning on the day of installation. Contacted via this page and told the issue can be rectified, just call the office. So called the office and was abruptly told someone will come out Saturday 2 weeks time. My gut feeling told me she was fobbing me off so called the Friday before to confirm and I was right, the man can't come out, he has other commitments and should not have been booked on this particular Saturday! She told me he could come out after 4 on the Friday, though. Yes thanks, and I again rearranged the evening to be home and no show. No call. Always seem to be speaking to a voice recorder. Do any people work at Kresta apart from the lady on the voice mail?
I managed to get someone out to do the quote for plantation shutters in early October and everything seemed to be going along well. On the quote I made a request for blinds to be installed before Christmas. No problem to do this Kresta stated. So I went ahead and paid a whopping 50% deposit in good faith. Christmas came and went and no shutters. Now I've paid the whopping final balance payment and am waiting for the fitter to cal...

A little difficult to contact the local office initially. I had to email and call them twice each before a service appointment was confirmed, but the person who came to adjust my blinds was punctual, quick, friendly and professional.

The lady who came to do the quote, Jill, was fantastic.
The blinds and curtains are beautiful!
Renee, who is the manager of the store, is awful! She is unfriendly, rude and harrassed us for payment after not taking my call twice when I tried to pay. She once told me "Don't call me to pay on Monday morning because I'm doing the pays" the second time she told me that she was waiting on a call back from my partner to pay. Why wouldn't she take my payment? Then she called to say the payment was overdue! Ugh!

The product looks great and functions well. I have had three roller blinds installed. The follow up after ordering could be improved to clarify waiting times, payment etc. The company protocol needs amending so the communication from initial measure, acceptance of the order and informing the client of installation is much slicker.

I contacted over 5 companies to quote on cellular blinds. We all know what happens - some call you back, some don't, some provide a professional quote, some don't etc.
I was very happy with Kresta's responsiveness . Someone came and quoted within days of my first contact, we were given some very useful advice in that process and the next steps were made very clear. I liked that there was no push to increase our purchase/upselling.
Kresta is at the midpoint in pricing in my opinion. Our contact generously extended a recent promotion discount to our order, which meant the price was lower than expected.
Installation was on the day and time expected and was incredibly quick.

This is the worst of the worst in a company i have ever had to deal with.
Save yourself the heartache and stress in dealing with Kresta in Melbourne.
6 weeks for roller blinds and only to be told on day of fitting 3 are missing and 2 have been incorrectly measured.
What a joke, endless phone calls to Kresta with no returned calls.
The only time i ever received a call was for payment before fitting.
Its amazing they are still around.

Months ago my husband and I begun our search for the perfect blinds to furnish our house. After much research (so we thought) and comparing companies and products we landed on disgraceful service and not to mention terrible product from Kresta. If we had known better we wouldn't have bothered with this dodgy company. They are happy to take your money and ask for 50% upfront and the balance before they install, but when you are not happy with the products you received, good luck trying to get a resolution. Each blind in every room of our house is disgusting, extremely poor quality for the price we have paid, looks nothing like what we saw in their showroom and quality we were promised. So we started our quest to have this matter rectified. After several phone calls, emails (no response received), someone from their company coming over to "inspect and take photo's of the bad blinds". We have been left with no resolution. They were supposed to come out last week again to "look at the blinds" because the first look they had was apparently not good enough, the crooks have taken our almost $8k in money for crap product and bad service. They never showed up to look at the blinds again. Too bad that we've taken time off work to wait for them, only to be stood up. Whatever you do, let this be a warning to other customers considering Kresta, do not hand over your hard earned money to them. Might I add, we do not even have a final receipt for the final deposit paid, despite numerous attempts at trying to obtain one because we paid via direct bank deposit. So funny that on this page an "invoice number" is requested, oops sorry don't have one, they won't even give me an invoice!! Received a phone call on Friday from a rep at Kresta customer care who promised she would call back today (Monday) with a resolution still no phone call, almost COB and I'm not expecting for a miracle, only broken promises. All we want is either our money back or blinds to the specifications we saw in their show room, no less, but I guess this is just too much to ask for, after all.....! We are absolutely disgusted at the dealings we have had with this company and will be seeking further advice from Consumer Affairs. Let this be a warning to all other customers out there.As a ' review' I would say DONT ORDER your shutters with Kresta. I ordered 8 shutters with them on 29/7/14. I was promised a frame that the sales lady didn't have a sample on her - however promised that they do make them.
You need to pay half the cost before the man comes out to messure. When he came out I was told that the frame I wanted is In fact NOT supplied by Kresta. Absolutely appalled with the service from Kresta Coburg. Our dismal experience began nearly two months ago. We chose Kresta because we wanted to support a business in our local area and the sales rep assured us that our blinds could be made and fitted in approx three weeks. It was quite urgent as I had just gotten out of hospital with a sleepless baby so the prompt installation of the blockout blinds we wanted in the kids rooms was so important.

Read morey from Kresta Coburg (telling the sales rep that we would be looking to have Kresta do the curtains and blinds for the rest of our house a little later, which had just been renovated). When the blinds installer came, turns out the blinds for the babies room - the most important room - had been made incorrectly as the original guy had measured our windows wrong! So, the blinds went back to be recut which added an extra three week delay. We complained to the manager who told us that it was in the contract we signed that we could expect errors and basically, too bad (!). Finally, today, the correctly measured blinds were due to be installed. We were told to be home between 8am and midday as the installer could come anytime between those hours. Midday came and no one had arrived. We had organsied our day completely around this as this Saturday is the weekend before our wedding so, as you can imagine, we are very very busy. We had told Kresta Coburg this when arranging the date and asked if there was any other day available but they said no. So, all of this waiting and waiting, for nothing. Then we received a call at around one pm saying that the installer would be there between 2 and 4. Did it matter if this suited us? No. Though, we were assured that the installer would give us a half hour notice before he arrived when I mentioned there would be a sleeping baby in the house.Hi Faith,
