Hi Donna, I’ve had no such problems with my set of the KU39’s . So far (5000km in) they are performing well.

No such problem Donna.. your salesman probably didn't have them, were trying to sell you something else. Other good tyres are Bridgestone, Dunlop,

Hi Scott, I was tossing between KU31 and KU39, but after reading your review I'm leaning towards KU39, I was wondering how long did you had them for? Are they of good longevity? I'm looking for better performance (dry & wet), and long span at least 30,000km, not much worried about the noise.

Please write me back when you feel free.

Thanks

I still have them on my Subaru and they are awesome! The dry performance is enough to seriously scare you (you've got to be really motoring to push them to their limits) and the wet driving is so grippy that most everything else I have driven on feels like plastic in comparison.Lots of confidence in the wet when driving normal or even spirited-you've got to be a bit silly to unhook them i.e trying to break traction. In normal driving roadholding is nothing short of spectacular. Very quiet tyres to boot. I have had them on for 13k and they look 15% worn.I think I will see at least 45k out of a set of tyres.I got my tyres for $150/corner, but retail is poisonous-like $240 -270!In Sydney, Tempe tyres have 225/50/17 for $170 and that was a few weeks ago.It pays to shop around as I have been driving near on 30 years and these are the best tyres I have driven on, and that includes some pricey and specialized tyres.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Cheers, Scott.
