Initially loved it - but...
After a number of years, our 'plumber installed el cheapo tap' packed it in. Our local plumbing shop salesman recommended Swiss designed KWC. My husband fitted it and I couldn't be happier with the smooth tap operation and ability to regulate the water flow down to the finest stream. The thin handle is easy to flick/maneuver when needing to wash hands that are covered in dough mixture. This tap also sits higher on the sink than other models allowing easy access for kettles to be placed underneath. No complaints at all & it even comes with a 15 ...Read more
year warranty! PS - a couple of years down the track I still love the design; ease of using the handle when hands are covered in cooking dough, etc. plus the height that it sits off the sink which is great for filling large pots; kettles, etc. however the tap has recently broken. The filter inside the tap end has fallen out & is unable to be put back in by us. This means that every time we use the tap now the pressure is doubled and if we're not careful or caught unawares then water splashes out rapidly, think Mr Bean in the bathroom scene in his first movie. We are just about to return it to our place of purchase as the tap had a long 15 year warranty. I'm wondering now if we were just dead unlucky or if we could have saved some $$s and been just as happy purchasing from Bunnings? Hindsight.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
