Capable laptop and can't be beaten on price.
I was skeptical when I bought the Chromebook but hopeful. I'm using it as a teacher and it's been fantastic. It's not a full laptop - that's the thing people need to understand - it's a Chromebook. Different. If you want high performing gaming then don't buy this. If you want complex Windows-based programs don't buy this. If you want the basics it's perfect. Microsoft Office. If it works in a Chrome browser on your PC now it'll work on the Chromebook. Offline capabilities exist too. Plugs into a projector via USB C and connects to bluetooth speakers. A few reviews say the speakers are poor - this is accurate. Plenty of criticism of the keyboard but the only thing I can say is that I'd prefer it to be backlit - other than that it's fine. Perfect PC for anyone who wants one for basic functions or for a student. Recommended. Small, light, the battery lasts all day and the price is fantastic. This is the future of PCs for me - no more expensive and/or bulky windows laptops with internal storage. Everything in the cloud. And if that worries you then you can stick a micro SD card in it and download everything. And for those who have issues with the large black bezels around the outside of the screen - bah, who cares, you got a cheap laptop and they don't get in the way at all. Looks fine.Purchased in January 2021 at Big W Online Store for A$369.00.
