An update prior to this review. I have had this unit less than a month and already the keyboard has failed. The P key no longer works. Inside the first 30 days Lenovo offers a full replacement. So now I wait for the replacement unit. It will not be fast as the unit here has an OLED Screen which is optional. I didnt mention that I spent three years with a Lenovo Yoga that needed returns ten times and they eventually refunded me close to the end of the three years of warranty due to their needing to warranty all the warranty repairs. ay be a fluke, or the IBM in this lenovo is not as prominent. This is one of their Flagship premium models. I will update this when I have a replacement machine. So now its back to the $400 HP that never dies no matter what I do to it. I have used a lot of computers over many years from right back when they were chunky low powered devices. IBM was one of the best and whilst many things have changed over the years.. the Thinkpad has not changed despite it being badged as Lenovo now. this beast is FAST and it is a very smart device able to run on minimal power or on its full potential which would equal a serious game laptop.. but alas this is not designed for a game laptop. Its powerful GPU is designed for graphic intensive applications and its powerful I7 9th gen processor seriously rocks anything I throw at it. I purchased this machine with a 512gb solid state drive, 16 GB ram in a single sim leaving a spare slot. And I added the $800 upgrade to the OLED screen and despite the OLED being a power hog on battery life.. totally worth it. If you have never used an OLED Screen.. I recommend you need to go look at one ASAP. No backlight, amazing vibrant colours and absolute blacks.. not backlight grey. This machine is designed for future upgrades and can do a massive 64gb ram, and besides the SSD, there is a slot for a second hard drive even a traditional non ssd. Everything is very easy to access even the battery, with the removal of of 4 screws the bottom panel comes off to reveal a compact but yet easy to access machine. I have honestly never seen a laptop so easy to work on for upgrades and replacement parts etc. Amazing. So without wasting your time: + Really solid feeling keyboard with good depth, and shaped keys.. also back lit. +Solid track pad with all in one left and right click buttons.Purchased in December 2021 at Lenovo for $3,000.00.
