French door seal failure
the fridge door seals rub against each othe when individually opening and closing fridge doors to over come this apply a film of vasoline on the inside edge where both seals meet on fridge doors keep lubricated and youll never have to replace them works for me! works like a charm if your seals tear use silicone to fix them as seals are now discontinued by lg silicone fixes tears and secures back into position and isnt permenant if it needs to come off
Nice fridge and very spacious. Door latches have broken twice in 18months.
A decent fridge that is attractive and very spacious. Not happy that door the latches keep breaking but LG have replaced them both times. It takes 2 weeks min to have parts ordered though. I find that the deepness of the fridge can be hard to use to its full advantage because you have to move alot of things out of the way to get the things at the back.
lots of room, so much its hard to utilise it even with 5 kids...
the door latches keep breaking and we have to wait 2 weeks for the parts to arrive.
LG French door fridge
We went to purchase another brand of fridge and saw this one on special $1000.00 cheaper than recommended price of $2299. This is just what we wanted very nice and appealing works just fine the size is larger than our older one, but in physical size the same. very quiet, door alarm, fast freeze, very easy settings, freezer at bottom.we know a friend with the larger size 615l had it for 3 years and no problems. I would recommend this fridge to anyone
looks and works great
The Perfect Fridge/Freezer
For 13 years we battled a double door Maytag fridge/freezer which broke down at least once each of those years, but we put up with it because of the limited fridge space in our kitchen.
At this start of the year, when the compressor gave up, we finally gave up on the Maytag. Then, while relying solely on our old spare General fridge, we started researching which refrigerator would fit into that specific space and give us a similar capacity to the old Maytag.
The choices for those necessary measurements were limited, but I liked what I re...ad about a few different fridges, especially the French Door ones. And the LG GM-B208SS model particularly interested me. Once at Harvey Norman, I also liked a similar fridge made by Electrolux for around the same price, but, while its shelving options and the included drawers were very, very nice, it had a significantly lower capacity in both the refrigerator section and the freezer part in comparison to the LG. For a family, a larger capacity is usually the deciding factor and so we bought the LG.
