So far so good!
No problems with fridge so far. The adjustable feet were benifishal. You can easily tweak the temp true. Ice on cools quick. there is good shelving and draws for fruit and veg they are not flimsy, unlike my old fridge. Power consumption Is similar t my previous fridge but would recommend.

Best customer service
Excellent non plumbed fridge. Lg customer service is the best. Had older model that died on on me 1 year outside the warranty got this as the replacement no fuss and they collected old one . Highly recommend lg for their superior support and after sales care. Did not expect for this to happen

Good Fridge - But Misled About Lock Feature
Had the new fridge for two months and overall we are happy with it.
Ice maker is useful, however all the LG webpage info claims that the Lock feature prevents accidental spills - and the photos show a child pressing it. This is totally misleading - it DOES NOT LOCK the water or ice from pouring out! It just stops the selector being changed from ice to water or back. This is a pretty useless feature, and we doubt that any would be using it. As we originally thought ours was broken we reported to LG Service - eventually getting several lame phone calls tryng to infer that the problem was with us in not understanding simple instructions!
Were not impressed with their staff!

Really good non-plumbed fridge
I bought this side-by-side non-plumbed fridge from Appliances Online 5 months ago. I have been very happy with it. I bought it primarily because I wanted ice and water dispensers, but could not have the fridge connected to the plumbing. This is the only non-plumbed ice and water dispensing fridge I could find. I previously had a plumbed fridge (Samsung) in my previous house.
I have found this one to be great. No problems at all. It is a little bit of a chore to fill the water tank. For a while I was filling it daily. I have adjusted b...Read more

Good fridge
Ok so the water and ice is my biggest complaint
We went for non plumbed but end up filling tank every day which is a pain. Water takes ages to fill glass. Easier to open a water bottle inside the fridge. Very noisey Imice makes and messy as ice spills everywhere when filling your bottle. Otherwise it’s roomy and I brought it as it was cheap $1600 and 4 star energy
Hope it lasts

Perfect fridge for growing family
Purchased from Harvey Norman. Found the fridge extremely spacious inside. The fridge was quiet at night without the regular hum which accompanies many units. Shelves can be moved around to accommodate various items, giving customisation which our last fridge didn't have. The fridge has never had any technical issues since we purchased it and would recommend to others.

Perfect Fridge
The fridge maintains good temperature in all compartments. It is very quiet. The compartments are spacious and in good design which fully use all the space. Kids love the chilled water and ice cube system. The adjusting buttons on the front door are very handy. It is easy to clean.

Pretty happy
Overall im pretty happy with the fridge. Plenty of space inside. Doesnt make alot of noise. Seems to keep everything consistently cool all over the fridge. I also love the water and ice cube feature. My one complaint is that the door swings open too easily for my liking and i have damaged the door

LIFE'S GOOD
This fridge is very spacious and nifty. The tall water dispenser makes it super easy to refill larger water containers. The handles are set within the door to minimise smudges on the fridge which is handy. The storage boxes can fit a lot of food items but still make it easy to view all contents of the fridge.

works well
The size is good for a couple of social vegetarians. Enough space for vegetables, dairy and drinks and the ice maker is great, although it's too easy to put ice into a glass and then fill with bourbon. It's very hard to not give the ice maker another wrap......it's the best feature.Quiet enough and any ice grinding sounds are just a reminder to get over there with an empty glass. You need to fill the water for the ice and cold water dispenser (not plumbed thank goodness). The freezer is a generous size and the many shelves make it easy to find t...Read more
hings. We have had it for over a year and all the functions are working. Instant temp. readings when you open the door to let you know the state of affairs internally. Temperatures within the fridge seem fine(without doing a scientific study) that is the dairy section, the freezer, the vegie drawers and the general fridge population. All in all a good buy.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great product, would recommend
This fridge is great - chills down quickly and quiet to open and close. Can do large Costco runs with plenty of deep storage. Purchased the fridge after looking at similar french door fridges but this is far more functional than others I inspected. Would recommend - ensure fridge cavity is big enough to house

Best Fridge that I have owned
Fridge is very quiet, except for when it is pumping water to make either ice, or someone is filling up a drink. But normal use it is basically silent which is good.
Easy to clean
Only downside is that it is a very wide fridge but for us, it did not matter.

Love my fridge
This fridge is excellent. We have found with our family of four the water runs out quicker than normal over the summer holidays. Occasionally the ice will go over the edge of the cup if not held to the top. For the price of the fridge I give it a five start rating. Love it!

Loving this fridge
Got a great deal on this fridge and haven't looked back. Easy to clean and to operate! If you hear a stray noise its just the water being dispensed to the freezer to bed converted to ice. Ice is available cubed or crushed and cold filtered water is also available. Love this grudge, can't recommend highly enough!

Love it
I bought my LG for the ice making machine and extra fridge space 2 yrs ago as it offered a non plumbed model....I have a built in fridge/freezer in the kitchen which wasn't enough space for my family so this enabled me to house it in the garage ...I love it but the ice machine does stick sometimes after refilling the water container but my husband is able to free it and it works great...he is by no means "technical"... but worth buying the extended warranty for peace of mind although mine is working great...I wouldn't be without it now and high...Read more
ly recommend it...I don't use the water button much but that's solely to save me refilling as often but the container is a good size so not a problem really...it crushes the ice easily but I normally use the blocks....Just wish it fitted in my kitchen as it looks lovely too......1 comment

No customer service
Bought a LG fridge /Freezer within less than a month the ice dispenser stopped producing ice plus we had reported scratches when we peeled plastic off product, we contacted LG who asked for evidence of scratches plus didn't believe no ice...we had to threaten legal action to get any where, after contacting The good Guys, the manager changed the Frigde Freezer for another LG, would we buy another LG definitely not as we were made to feel at fault, after reading a few reviews we found similar complains

Big enough
Bought this fridge last month and really satisfied, big enough for 5 of us, 2 adults n 3 school age kids which we only do groceries once a week, busy family and can accommodate all of our food that needs to keep in the fridge
Hope the warranty will work too, for cover 10 years for the compressor

Our LG fridge LG 668PNL won’t dispense ice even the ice tank is full. I tried removing all the ice and start a new but still doesn’t. You can hear the dispensing sound from the front but no ice is coming out. Please help
1 answer
While you hear the sound see if you can gently prod where the ice cubes come out, occasionally they jam up there and once freed works normal again. They may have also melted together for some reason making it too large to come out. What happens if you turn it to shaved ice instead of cubes?

Just an update on my review on the LG ice maker... One morning I was greeted with water on the floor around my fridge/freezer and couldn't find where it came from so called the extended warranty peopl... Read more
e and they sent out a serviceman...he checked everything and couldn't find anything but said sometimes this happens...but he looked at the ice maker and decided to replace it as he had to fiddle with it to get it working after removing the water tank which is what many of us have had to do apparently!!! It has worked faultlessly since which is a few months now so it obviously was faulty from the beginning so suggest others who are having to play around a bit to get it working after they fill the water tank get it checked while under warranty as it seems they had a faulty batch...I hope this helps anyone who has to adjust it as there has been some questions about it previously..
