I have just received my new microwave from Harvey Norman after the one I originally bought stopped working.
I rang LG and told them about it.
I couldn't fault the service I received from Alicia who helped me with the replacement.
Thank you so much for your help and support, I can't fault LG it's the easiest process I have ever experienced from a major company.
I was very excited to use my microwave again.

I've had this unit back to the repairers 4 times & set for 5th. When it runs its fine, but every 6 months it just stops heating or has some other fault. Repairers probably replace with cheapo parts? Absolute disgrace. Don't ever buy an inverter microwave (obvious tech is flawed) if this is what happens. My old 1990's Pana lasted 30 years but I can't this POS to run for 12 months. Its not heavy use - we only use once or twice per day. The magnetron just packs up & its stops heating. Kaput.

Had this Unit for about 18 months now and like a lot of people here I got the reset issue after a few months of use. I read all the reviews here and I cannot believe that LG hasn't still figure out that the problem is in the little 24 wire harness that goes from the inside board to the outside panel in the door.
I fix mine few months back, I even wrote a blog(pictorial) of the fix, but I'm not sure I can post the link here..

A new edition for our home. This is an upgrade from our general microwave. Personally, it has taken a little while to adjust to the concept of being a convention oven. Will start with the design of the LG, may look like any other microwave, yet the added edition of door opening down as opposed to side was 1 of the selling points for me. I don’t need to place the LG in a position in the kitchen where i need to accomodate for the door opening to the left, simply pull door down as per normal oven.

The variety of things it can do is pretty awesome here a quick one liner for the few items of used so far:
- The microwaving of the items stuff is a hit and miss sometimes, for the costs though it would have expected better to be honest.
- Steamer is great and works, albiet a bit small so you can't steam much at any one time, normally enough for just 1 person
- Convection ovens works like a charm..but make sure you preheat it first, also takes a bit of time
- Healthy free works great too, no hassle there

This microwave looks great and up until a couple of weeks ago was doing exactly what it was supposed to do. It microwaves well and convection cooks well also. We love the steamer function and have cooked dim sims and that kind of thing lots and it does them well. The sensor settings - cooking and defrosting are good. It doesn't finish cooking with a cavity full of water like our last two Panasonics.

Purchased this product just over a year now. Was working good. Cooking well (both microwave and convection). Only negative feedback during this time is the noisiness of it. Then, started to see the F-11 error appear at random time during cooking. Have to turn unit off and back on to have a guess how long was left on the cooking time to restart. Have had it in for repairs twice for the same error in its 2 years factory warranty which was very inconvenient as a 40min drive each way to drop off and pick up. It is now faulting again with a different issue. I have only ever used for steaming and heating. The worst microwave I have ever owned. LG have agreed to issue a return authority so Harvey Norman are happy to give me a full refund. So happy customer now.

When you open the door or busy cooking or closing the door the microwave would jump to setting the timer. Has gone in for repairs. (took approx a month) and still have same issues. LG response: keep taking in for repairs even though they couldn't fix it previously. Everybody else seems happy with this microwave so feels like this one is a dud.

I have had & used some microwaves in my 70 years but this one tops the lot.
It seems to be fool proof as everything just comes out perfectly because of the convenient & easy to use control system, not just for the microwave but also the convection side as well. I am more than happy with it. Also so easy to keep clean.

Oh my, what doesn't this microwave do. Fantastic as an oven, the best roast pork ever, highly recommended. Easy to use, defrost, microwave, grill. Have even used it to bake a cake, turned out moist. We are going travelling in our motor home soon so this will be our everything.

This was an expensive purchase about 18 months ago. A short time after buying it the over would reset when opening the door and so I eventually took it back to the store. It was allegedly fixed so back it came and started doing the same thing about a week later. So back again to the store and repaired for second time with a new door and board. Overall not impressed with this. Microwave function is ok but sounds like a chaff cutter when running due to the vibration of the case. I haven't used the convection function all that much but it doesn't seem to be as hit as the temperature says. I wouldn't buy another one.

I purchased this Microwave with the hope that because it was a Microwave, Inverter, Steamer, Convection and Grill it would mean I did not have to cook in my oven/stove. Unfortunately, this Microwave is so complicated and difficult to use that I find I really only use the Microwave feature for thawing and heating up. My microwave switched off mid cooking and display reset occasionally, i cotacted lg call centre who told me to take it to someone 70 km away. This repair centre has not handled lg for years. After telling the call centre i need to find another service agent they still tell me to go to the same place. We recently purchased this lovely, stylish microwave and I am very pleased with it. It looks lovely in the kitchen but it also functions brilliantly. It is an inverter style one and it cooks so fast compared to my old machine - I have had to refigure cooking times by half in some cases! It also has very handy digital menus. I really am pleased with it!
