Excellent Google Speaker
If you are looking to upgrade your basic Google Home speaker with something that is louder and has better sound quality, then the WK7 is probably your best option.
Build quality is great, it feels heavy and solid in construction. Sound quality wise, they are excellent, but not quite as good as Sonos One but it comes really close. Highs are really good, but there could be slightly better separation between the mids and the bass. It makes the bass sound a little muddy. But that really is a nit-pick, unless you are an audiophile, you probably won...
Read moret care. As a Google Speaker it ticks all the boxes, it runs Google Assistant natively, so everything a regular Google Speaker can do, it will do just as well from voice recognition and stereo pairing, to Google Cast etc. Setup is done via the Google Home app, but it also comes with a secondary LG app that allows you to control some of the sound settings and bluetooth streaming. I did not buy it for these features, so I cant comment how good it is in that respect.Purchased in at P & S Electronics for $149.10.
