Terrible washer- leaking on my floor and into bottom washer
I purchased In June 2018 from Harvey Norman. This machine is still under warranty with LG until June 2020. This machine has been leaking on and off since I first purchased this machine and despite multiple calls between both the store of purchase and LG, the machine is only now being booked in for Review/? Repair. Because there was been issues with the leaking, I have also requested this machine be replaced. However, LG customer service have said they will only get a technician to come to review and possibly fix and have currently refused to re...Read more
place the machine. I have also commenced the Process to complain about LG customer service Re: delayed process to fix this issue as all call attendees do not appear to read previous notes about the discussions about the same leaking machine. When I mentioned this, the customer service rep brought to my attention they actually do not have a complaints department to handle these matters at all. It was only after I requested x2 to speak with a supervisor, they allowed me to and the supervisor only advised me that I can speed up the repair time of the technician by calling the repair people myself. When I asked about future follow up of my complaint re: my customer service experience re: the leaking machine, he said this was the solution to my complaint and nothing else would be done. This matter is currently being brought to the attention of fair trading. Save yourself money, for the amount you are paying there should be better service but it makes sense when you read the other reviews and see people are not being followed up or being given the run around. I would not recommend this product and I would not recommend purchasing anything LG.Purchased in June 2021 for $4,000.00.

Good but bulky and dryer pretty useless: would not purchase again
Machine is just 12 months old.
I found my 10 year old Meile did a better wash and more gentle on clothes. But this machine is HUGE though so good for large families. Definitely fits king bed sheets or king doona to be washed. Need to use extra rinses with big loads though so not certain on the water efficiency rating there, yes I use only a very small amount of washing detergent.
Purchased through Harvey Norman and somehow accidentally only delivered top part. Took over a month to get bottom section found and delivered. Absolute no advice or...Read more
help from LG or Harvey Norman on how to install the two sections. Note: Very heavy and difficult to DIY install, took three adults to lift the heavy top machine into place on bottom unit. Not practical to try and move. Dryer takes forever and still feel damp when get them out after a 3 hour cycle. I rarely use it and go back to my old dryer. I wish LG had thought about child safety further with this machine. Huge door easy to open when turned off. I have a lock on my internal laundry door because of this concern. I regret buying it now mainly because of this concern.Purchased in June 2021 for $2,999.00.

Very bad customer Service
Bought this machine in March because their cash back promotion over the Samsung.
Noticed pool of water on the floor after only one week, call to LG but without answer, found out the flexible water pipe is badly made and not fit correct, had to replace it with the old 15 years pipe myself. The other issue with this unit is the touch buttons on the bottom washer very hard to active, still waiting for answer from LG.
LG cash promotion is a scam, after submit the claim within 2 week and follow their website to supply both serial numbers, their w...Read more

Great concept but bad customer service for faulty unit
Bought machine in 2018. Within 12 months noticed some leaking on laundry floor. Got LG repairer out who couldn’t find a leak and told me to use less washing power. Did so and leak got worse over the following 3-6 months. Even leaked on drier cycle and when using no washing powder to test theory.
Leak made floor wet and pooled on the top of the small washer. Water then spilled down the side of machine onto the lid area of the washer below causing the lid hinges of the small washer to start to seize up and the small washer is now smelling from s...Read more

Expensive piece of junk
I used to love this machine but 1 year in, nothing but trouble. LG know there is a problem with the screws popping out of a part and at one year this happened, they replaced them with bigger screws, 2 months later the screws popped out again but this time threaded and now the bowl has to be replaced also, the movement also caused parts to rub on wires, (luckily they were covered in electrical tape, to me this is a fire hazard in itself as I use it at night). Good luck dealing with LG service, they just give you the run around, tell you they w...Read more
ill ring you back and don't, this is now the third time in 3 months I have had no washing machine for over 2 weeks. I've contacted the retailer that I have purchased this from and hoping to get a refund as this machine is not fit for purpose. I think I was one of the first to buy this machine when it first came out so I'll be interested to see how others go after a year or so.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

LG Twinwash
Bought this machine to replace our 15 years old washing machine. Very easy to use & convenient. We do two large loads each weeks. My teenagers do their own washing with the small machine which is easy for them to use. Love to use the dryer on rainy days. The only problem was we never have a front loader so didn’t know that we need to drain the overflow water from the big machine so we got s few flooding incidents especially doing large loads. The company sent out look at machine & cant find any faults. Luckily we figured the problem by reading the instructions properly. no problem since. Good machine for a growing or large family. I wash all the towels, bed linen even blankets in it!

Great washing machine but only for a big load
This machine is very huge & heavy. Only buy this if you have a large family as i think it will be a waste to put small loads. Its very quiet compared to the other machines on the market. Pretty easy to use once you get to know how to use it. I still love it but if i ahd the chance, i would prefer to buy a machine separate to the dryer.

A perfect laundry system for our family
We bought the LG Twin Wash from Harvey Norman a few days ago. We are blown away by its HUGE capacity, we expected loooong washes due to the large load capacity, No, it washes pretty fast, clothes come out super clean, this machines water spay jets and cleaning functions are cleverly designed, its extremely efficient, it was real easy to install, it's easy and great fun to use. Our super king duna fitted with room to spare and washed perfectly, a drum large enough for a HUGE family wash load on top, 2.5kg top loader mimi washer for delicates ...Read more
at the bottom.. this washing machine washes fast, it cleans thoroughly, and it dries almost perfectly, just like our old inverter dryer, the clothes feel hot and steamy after the drying cycle is finished, but soon go to totally dry once out of the drum airing and cooling for afew minutes. We found it best to do a wash only and use the clothesline through the day, using the wash and dry cycle off peak and overnight, as it can take up to 4 hours to wash and dry a full load of washing. This machine is loaded with easy to use features, much more considerate than our old machine, this one politely plays a music tune to alert you once the wash cycle is finished, the Wifi phone App works but was a bit glitsy, but not a feature useful to us. We have washed all our dunas, and all our family laundry in no time. We highly recommend this machine, if you have a laundry room to fit this beauty, we suggest that have a good look at the LG Twin Wash, we can not recommend it highly enough.Similar opinion? Very expensive disappointment - bankrupt service
Spent hours researching the product on-line before buying. On opening packaging, information was disclosed which, if it is on LG AU's website, certainly does not leap off the page. Result? Product appears, from the papers that shipped with it, to be unfit for my purpose. Try LG online chat - operator knew nothing. Telephone LG and operator knew nothing but promised a call back by a product specialist. No call when promised.
Decide to use product in another situation to avoid the hassle of repackaging and returning and no doubt LG resistance to...Read more

Could you please give me some rough times of cycles for everyday, quick, bedding washes? And heavy duty cycle pls?
1 answer
Having eventually been able to get machine operative (no thanks to the OEM) and noiing that I am a bloke so I dont use too many different cylcles and dont register times too often, heavy duty/intesnse cycles (inclduing drying) that take about 5 hours; certainly not quick but the washing result (as distinct from drying) is good.
