Bought at Beacon Lighting in Cairns, We had two of these fans installed mid 2013. Loved the look and worked well for a time
After about two 1/2 years one fan became faulty, stopped working, thought it was remote initially but checked that out and it didn't fix problem. Couple of different Sparkies looked into it over the years but unable to fix so seemed needed new transducer was going to be next action, however just about as expensive and no guarantee. so gave up.

100% failure rate, this is not a cheap fan so not good enough Beacon : (
Purchased 2 of these fans 3 years ago. one for my sons room which got regular usage and one for the spare room which was unused most of the time. in the middle of summer last year my sons fan stopped working. As an electrician i swapped the fan out with the spare room fan and that fan has now also stopped working. I have been a sparkie for over 30 years and have installed an unthinkable amount of fans. t seemed the perfect choice but if i had known this technology would not have even lasted 5 years i would have never handed over my hard earned dollars, and they weren't cheap! Sadly also as an electrician I have already recommended these fans to other people due to their looks and efficiency.Purchased in January 2021 at Beacon Lighting.

Effective and affordable
We bought three from Beacon Geelong and were given excellent assistance from the staff member who served us. We were advised to run at high speed for 4-5 hours to run in motors and at each use to initially run on high for a few minutes. The airflow is more than adequate, even at low speed and importantly, they are quiet with little noise when operational at night. Would recommend as suitable for bedrooms.

Crab fan Service beacon no result
Bought at beacon lightning Cairns. Fan after 1 year already problem to start up. The shop had no sale in the computer so because it was a minor problem we just let it go. now 26 month after we bought its broken it won't start.
Beacon lightning say in the shop they don't deal with warranty we have to fill in paperwork on internet.
my advice don't buy this fan and if you want to buy it do not at beacon lightning the service is no good!

Super Quiet - No Motor Noise
Bought this from Beacon lighting. Was worried about Lucci as poor reviews on other fans but this is great so far. Good light. 6 speeds. Very quiet motor. Good air flow. In comparison to my faulty Martec Fans this Lucci fan far out performs them.

Replaced a faulty receiver purchased from Beacon Townsville, only to have it fail again within 2 weeks. I am an electrician. Turned the remote down, heard a popping sound in the motor, now the fan doesn't work at all.
Prior to this, the fan has been working fine. I would say it's about 4 years old. the part cost $80 to replace. Second fan along side this one, at times stops and has to be switched off at the remote and restarted.
These fans are located in a enclosed pergola area, in the last 6 months we have been pet sitting for family and these fans are running constantly for cooling. We have 10 of these fans through out our home and these are the only ones faulty.
These are not the horseshoe type.
Reluctant to replace

buy a new cheap one and when it break get a new again. Al this fancy stuf is breaking faster and repair is expensive. and not at beacon the service is horrible.

I am sorry to hear about the issue with your receiver. This receiver does have a replacement only warranty through the store purchased from so I would suggest speaking with them and they can swap this over for you. On another note, as fans have running parts and motors, if they are constantly running, they will fail at some point. I would also suggest that you remove your phone number from this post a this is a public forum so everyone can see this and it not something I can remove as this is not a Beacon Lighting site, it is a third party.
