Hi We purchased 5 fans in Jan 2020 and paid for installation through Beacon Lighting. Two of the fans are in the same area (Airfusion Type A) and had been working really well but last night one stopped and now it will not turn on at all. Tried the remote and it has now somehow paired with the other fan.
I have read your instructions to others, tried the pairing unpairing sequence for two fans (turning both off, taking out batteries, turning them back on one at a time) and yet both remotes will only pair with one fan.
I have also emailed the electrician that was sent to install but would love some help because it's hot and the loungeroom fan doesn't work at all.
Thank you Jenny

Hi Jenny, I'm sorry to hear that you have had issues to re-pair your fans. To re-pair the fans you need to:

1. Have the power switched off at the wall on all fans
2. Switch on the fan you are programming and hold the power button for up to 30sec. Turn On and change the speed setting to confirm successful pairing.
3. Turn off power and move to the next fan and follow the same steps
4. Go back to the first fan turn on the power and it all should work fine
5. Leave fan one on at the wall and turn fan two on, it should now work fine as well

If you still experience issues pairing, then our warranty team would send a technician out once a warranty form was submitted online.

Thanks Rhiannon, Promise I have done all of the above ( as suggested to others and on trouble shooting ) but one fan will not move at all. (And I even turned off the mains too) I have electrical certificate and documents from Beacon, where do I go to get warranty form or should I just go back to the store as we are still waiting on another fan as part of the order. Thanks for your reply Jenny. PS love that you are changing packaging to cardboard.

The light keeps coming on in my infants room, therefore waking her up in the middle of the night. The product was bought and installed only 3 mths ago. Sleepless dad wants to know if this is a fault with the product or an easy fix? I had 2 installed and both were coded different so this shouldn’t be the problem.....sleepless dad wants a good night sleep. Is this a warranty issue? Remote control issue? Any advice is appreciated.....

Hi Todd, the issue could be that someone in your area has the remote on the same frequency as the one in your child's room. If you change the frequency to something entirely different to what you have in the house now, this should fix the issue. This needs to be done on both the transmitter and the receiver (located in the ceiling canopy of the fan) if you have a Futura Eco. If you have any further questions, please direct them to us at [email protected] as we can dig further into this issue this way as this is a third party site that is not related to Beacon Lighting fans. Hi, I just bought 7 of your fans form Beacon Lighting in Fyshwick Canberra. I was disappointed to find a significant amount of polystyrene foam protective packaging inside the boxes. Polystyrene is not recyclable and very bad for the environment. Have you considered using cardboard or another environmentally friendly product as your protective packaging?

Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Nick, thankyou for your feedback. All of our lighting products have transitioned away from polystyrene - as of end of FEB 2020, no lighting products will be imported with polystyrene. We have transitioned around 50% of fans over to egg crate packaging. Our commitment is all fans will come with egg crate packaging by March 2021. Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

I have this fan with a remote. I turned on the light and fan but now it will not turn off unless I turn off at PowerPoint. Has this happened to others if so what did you do? Thanks Luke

2 answers

Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Luke,
It sounds like the remote may have jumped off frequency . If it has jumped off frequency you can do the following to test this.
You need to do is place your controller in your hand, flip it over and remove the batteries. You will see 4 channels or dip switches. All you need to do, is set your remote to say channel 2, then you need to pull down the canopy of your fan (the canopy is the cover that covers the wires and mounting block). From the floor you will be able to see the fan's receiver- they are normally green in colour- all you need to do is set the receiver to the same channel as you have just set your controller. If it is a frequency problem then this will fix the issue, however if something else you may need to speak with an electrician to have a new remote control installed.

I have a Lucci Airfusion Climate DC Ceiling Fan. Has been installed in a bedroom about two years ago. Being in a bedroom, only gets occasional use. The fan now won't start. When the "go" button is pressed, the fan just pulsates, turning very slowly (only a few revs per minute) If left on, after 30 seconds or so, it stops (I assume it has an internal overload cutout?) Any ideas? Can it be repaired?

Hi Gary, the issue will be the receiver unit of the remote, this will need replacing. The remote 210019 has been deleted quite some years ago, it has been replaced with SKU 210012 or 210013 that can be purchased at any Beacon lighting store. Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Greg, Sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your fan. I would suggest changing the frequency by changing the DIP switches located in the remote transmitter ( battery compartment) and the remote receiver in the ceiling canopy of the fan. The instructions for this can be found on the Installation Instruction shttps://www.beaconlightingtradeclub.com.au/media/wysiwyg/211025-028_IM_VER1_0_2015-12-9_.pdf
If this does not work I would recommend contacting our warranty department on 1800602243.

Hi We had a Luci Futra Eco Dimmable led fan installed two weeks ago. The other night it cam on by it self and also I cam home a couple of days ago to find it running also I didn't leave it on What should I do please

1 answer
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Lauren,

From your description of your issue, it does sound like someone in close vicinity to you also has a remote control and has their remote on the same channel. This would explain the fan turning on randomly. This is easy to change. All you need to do is place your controller in your hand, flip it over and remove the batteries. This should solve your problem.

Hi, We have three Lucci Futura Eco ceiling fans, all three have stopped responding to their remotes overnight. I have been into Beacon and they have told me that the remotes need to be re-paired but could not tell me how. Could you please give me instructions on how to do this, many thanks

2 answers
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Kate,

To re-pair the fans to the remote, you will need to make sure the fan is turned off at the isolation switch (wall switch) then open the back of the remote and the canopy of the fan and check the the dip switches are all in the same positions. If they are not, reset them so they are the same, then close the canopy and back of remote, turn the fan back on at the isolation switch (wall switch) and use the remote to turn the fan on high.

Do this separately for each fan, making sure each fan/remote has a different frequency/sequence to the others.

Kind regards,
Rhiannon - Customer Service
