I just bought the LSVS130G and find it very hard to close the lid. I practically have to stand over the appliance and put my body weight (80kg) on each corner of the lid to click into place.
Yes it closes, but I'm worried that the plastic lid will soon crack with continued use. Does anyone have a similar problem?

Yes I also found the lid to be slightly hard to close but thought that it is meant to be that way and will loosen over time the more you use it.

I had the same problem and at first, couldn’t get it to close at all. Now I do one side at a time as I found it just about impossible to do both at the same time

Can I use any brand of vaccum pack bags or do they have to be the luvele brand?

I have not used any other bags in the machine yet, as my machine came with 10 rolls. However I have had other machines before this one and the process and mechanics of the machine are exactly the same, so I am very confident I will be able to use any bags in this machine. I have bought some very cheap ones from China in the past and I felt some were not high quality, so be careful what you purchase.

Hi there is anyone using this for sealing jerky or biltong? Which settings are you using?

No, Im not using for jerky, but am for home cheese making. The concept is the same, all air is excluded to prevent the development of bad bacteria whilst still allowing the product to age. I use the moist food setting and have had success with all my cheeses.

To be honest I'm not sure. I haven't seen or used 300mm bags however it certainly fits the standard 280mm bags and rolls ok so at a squeeze it could work !
