Excellent machine makes cooking easy
I love my magimix for its versatility. I use it for steaming my veggies every day as well as making batters, sauces and whipping cream or eggs. However, What annoys me a bit is the difficulty in scraping cake batters out of the bottom, I usually end up taking the blade out to do so. Also when making thicker batters it doesnt mix properly so I have to hand mix it. And afterwards, even though the rinsing feature does an awesome job, cleaning the device is a bit of a pain. Another thing that would be great would be if you could cook meat or someth...Read more
ing WHILE steaming veggies (I know the practicalities prohibit this but it would be super handy). It just means I still have to keep other kitchen appliances for those times when I cant do both. Also, I bought my product new and very recently so it should have already had the update done meaning I can use the slow cook function, however this hasnt been done. However, despite these things Im still glad I got it. Its comfortable and easy to use, cooks food well and Ive had fun making lots of different things in mine. Having the food processor is a bonus too!

Really fabulous cooking machine!!
I decided to buy the magimix cook expert after much consideration and comparisons with other similar products. Well I am super glad I did! I have pretty much used it every day since getting it. It is really easy to use. It is a sturdy product and I feel confident walking away to let it do its thing, while I do other things - which saves me time. The rinsing mode is super helpful in helping clean the product. Plus the food processor is the best I've ever had! worth every cent

Fantastic!
Love the way this appliance can do everything from whip eggs, cook risotto and steam.
Would like an automatic recipe program, but the recipes provided are excellent.
I save so much time.

If there is an instructor or more video expositions in YouTube that gonna be more helpful
Overall the quality is good and 30 years of warranty that is save of money. But the point I would like to mention is not about the quality but the service part that magimix can improve. For me, it took a long time to learn how to do dishes and I still can't do well at it because the recipe is little bit simple for green hand. I heard from my friends who own Themermomix that they always get support and instructions from the sellers who also are instructors. And there are plenty of video instructions in YouTube to guide you step by step. That is really a good after sale service which can make you best use of your machines.

The material doesnt worth the money we paid.
Overall, it's a good machine. That there are just some issues I found hard to deal with it.
Firstly, every time I put blade into the the dishwasher, it has some rust spots left over. From my point of view, shouldn't this type of machine use food grade stainless steel? Now I have to hand wash it and try it with paper tower immediately just to avoid getting rusted.
Secondly, the French dicing accessory is useless, It was so hard to push the food by hands, It can't cut either sweet potato or eggplant with soft skin. It only works with po...Read more
tato or apples. I actually spend more effort to push food in and more time to clean it as there always food stuck on it. Totally useless! Last but not least, Could you possibly put more videos about how to use your machine on your website? I bought extra discs but had no idea about what to do, for example Juuenne disc, fluted discs. I've checked your website and YouTube videos but couldnt find more Information about those. If it's such a troublesome thing for our young people to learn . How can you expect seniors buy and use mach this?Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Worth the $$$s
The CE will make every other gadget/cutter/slicer/processor you own seem inferior and unnecessary, it and make everyday prep and cooking a dream and produce professional results. It's really 2 products in one - the best food processor on the market, plus the excellent cooking function which does take some mastering, but once learnt will save you heaps of time stirring and washing up.

Great cooking appliance, works well!
I was surprised how simple it was to change the function from food processor to. Expert cook. I have made 1 recipe so far and it was quite straight forward to follow the recipe and the chicken cacciatore was delicious. Looking forward to try another recipe. Would love to see more recipes available on video.

Do It All Kitchen Machine
I have had my Magimix CE for almost 3 months and the more I use it the more impressed I am with it's versatility and functions. I love it for cooking family meals from soups, stews, stir frys and for making smoothies and desserts. It makes pizza dough in minutes and proves right in the metal bowl. The food processor is fast and powerful and I have used it to slice the toppings and salami for the pizza! The display panel is large and easy to read and I found it to be user friendly to navigate through the programes. Magimix Australia offers very...Read more

Does it all!
A bowl that actually fits 4 good size portions in, the temperature is accurate and it is easy to change bowls for all the different uses. The handles and bowl do not get hot, it is super safe to have in the kitchen and the glass lid means you can actually see what is going on in there too. The app and the cookbook are a real pleasure to work from, I am slowly growing in confidence and making my own recipes and using it as part of my kitchen routine - it even looks smart and stylish on the worktop too!

Quality is second to none
It took me over a year to finally take the plunge to buy this machine, but I am so glad I did! It is so powerful, sturdy and precise, plus looks so nice on the bench top! I also love that it is predominantly metal and not plastic, and the 30 year motor warranty is excellent. My only gripe is the lack of variety of recipes available online (and the book that comes with the machine doesn't really suit the modern Australian palate), however there is a brilliant Facebook group that can help with any queries. Overall, it's a brilliant machine and I'm glad I took the plunge!

I have given up my thermomix for this magimix cook expert. It is so easy to use and makes amazing pastry. Bread is simple and everything about it is fantastic. Trying to choose between a Thermomix and a Magimix, then seriously consider the Magimix cook expert.

Magimix CE is the best we’ve owned
I was looking for a birthday present for my wife, and after reviewing many food processors and cooking appliances, decided to buy the Magimix CE which was on special at David Jones. Compared to several food processors we’ve already owned, the Magimix is the best and most convenient. It chops, dices, grates, grinds, etc. so quickly and without any mess. As for cooking, we have only made vegetable soups so far, but the process is so easy using the built-in programs and the results are so delicious. We’ve been looking on YouTube to learn more about cooking with the Magimix, but it appears it can’t do roast or bake bread. I guess we still have to use my oven and bread maker for those.

Best all-in-one kitchen appliance!
My husband and I decided to replace our old Thermomix TM31 (of 5 1/2 years) with a brand new Magimix. I am in awe haha! The Magimix is quality. It just doesn't compare to the Thermomix! There is a lot more metal and less plastic. An all-in-one appliance is a must for me. I live a Vegan lifestyle. Gluten-free. Minimal oil. Sugar-free! Creating in the kitchen is what I do for fun! Prior to the Thermomix, I was extremely frustrated with the various stick mixers and blenders that I used... in fact, I burnt/killed 2 new appliances!! Lol. I know righ...Read more
t?! I have to say, that I am extremely happy with the Magimix. Here's why. The Magimix does a suburb job of cooking curry/casserole/Thai/etc. I love that the Magimix only stirs every so often, not constantly.. my dishes would end up soupy (in the Thermomix)!!! I love the bowl shape, the clear glass lid is absolutely awesome, I can watch my food cooking etc. The separate scales are so handy... lol.. the amount of times I tried to balance a plate or bowl on top of the Thermomix base is ridiculous (so many near accidents!). The 3 year warranty and 30 year motor warranty is great. I only wish the total appliance warranty were 10 years, instead of 3 (the Breville Super Q has 10 years! It's half the price too!). The only downfall is grinding up flours/nuts. While the Magimix is capable of doing this (I just made a freshly ground flax and buckwheat bread this morning), it doesn't do it as finely as the Thermomix. I still find bits of grain/nut that have not been fully ground (in the silver bowl). However, my husband and I are going to buy a Breville Super Q shortly for this very purpose.. it's also going to be handy having another appliance that can blend/grind smoothies/frozen desserts/soup/flour/nut butters etc.! I love that the magimix comes with 4 bowls!!!! How good that I get to grate my vegetables and fruit! Along with slice and julienne (as we're receiving the extra attachments)! I love that the Magimix is a lot quieter than the Thermomix. The sound when it cooks is actually therapeutic haha.. in my opinion anyway. My smoothie bowls have turned out fab. Smoothie and much less involvement compared to our old Thermomix! Yay!!!!!! I love our new Magimix. Thank you so so much for creating such a quality and superb machine! Oh.... customer service are outstanding too!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
So glad I bought this fantastic machine
I thought about getting a Magimix Expert for ages. A few of my friends had a thermo cooker from another brand and I looked into that one too. But in the end, the fantastic reviews of the Magimix won me over and I bought one. In the first week I made desserts, soups, stews and amazing ice cream. Now I am so glad I stopped procrastinating and just did it. It lives on the bench top and does not get put away. I love the fact that there are Magimix communities out there on social media who swap recipes and give newbies like me support and encourage...Read more
ment. I love the Magimix app with all its recipes. Thankyou Magimix for such a quality machine. Brilliant addition to any kitchen
I chose the Magimix Cook Expert after lots of research and consideration including the price, warranties ( I have had a Magimix Food Processor for approx 25 years which hasn’t missed a beat) and recommendations and I am not disappointed. It is easy to use, makes delicious food which the whole family enjoy especially the soups which save me both time and effort. The bowl is large enough to accommodate my family of 5 comfortably. The unit as a whole has replaced several other kitchen appliances saving valuable space. I am liking being able to do...Read more
all preparations and cooking in the one unit or changing from the food processor to the steel bowl with no effort, I was able to touch the bowl without getting burnt and removing the lid was a breeze - this machine is just so user friendly. Food is tasty and retains desired textures. I am also loving how easy it is to clean, to pull apart and reassembling is a breeze. I love this machine and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi Winnie, the current model does not have Bluetooth. There has been a feature launched in France that enables this however there are currently no confirmed plans to launch this into Australia yet. Thanks.

Hi, I’ve only just purchased the magimix cook expert and am still familiarising myself but I’ve struggled to find the info on cooking brown rice. Other rices are easily located but I cannot seem to find the instructions for brown rice In the cook book or the app. I’m assuming it would be a lot different to the white. Does anyone have any idea?
1 answer
Magimix A.Magimix
Hi Robyn,
With Brown Rice there may be a need to increase the water and cooking time. Perhaps trial this by increasing the time & water level to gauge the best result as it may vary from different types of brown rice.
Thanks
