    A first rate wood heater

    published

My first MASPORT wood heater gave wonderful service for almost 20 years. I fully expect that my new F7000, with its improved design features and rugged construction, will continue to give me exceptional performance for at least another 20 years

The first masport we had was excellent until a chimney sweep man broke the piece of cast iron which closed off the fire and banked it down thereby allowing the fire to remain lit. No one has been able to replace this, so the fire is never still lit next morning. Do the new masports have this feature?

All slow combustion wood heaters should have this feature - the heat output control or air slide, Certainly all Masport heaters have this control.
Its purpose is to control the amount of air let into the firebox and thus control the rate of wood burning ( slow combustion ).
Masport keep a full range of spares for their woodfires and a replacement control should be easily obtained through a Masport retailer or installer.
