Yes constantly dropping out, both ADSL & NBN. Mate previously sent a tech out, however my connections have not improved, even when I upgraded from ADSL to NBN... I’ve had my hands full and haven’t had time to search alternative providers, but I’m done with using this service. I’ve had this issue for a few years now and find I have a better connection hot-spotting my mobile data.

Great speed throughout the day including peak times.
I’ve been with Mate Communicate for about 2 years now and never had any issues regarding speeds.
Even the customer service is pretty good.

I have had few downtime from time to time, but I'd say less than 2 or 3% of the time, probably even less than that. Really happy with their service, they've been pretty responsive when I'd require something out of them.

No complain about the Nbn service. Stable connection and fast. My wife no more complaining. Which is sound good to me. Hahhaha

Can't complain about our connection. It's fast (averages 90+ Mbits), it's stable and Mate customer support is fantastic. We have multiple products with them and will be a loyal customer for a long time to come

I think i been getting my internet from this company for 1~2 years now on NBN 100 plan. As we are in Australia (in my case NSW) the internet is not perfect and I do get a few dropouts time to time. However, I will say they counter this with the customer service team. I have used at least 3 other companies and every time I called them it was an overseas customer service team, very difficult to understand, slow, useless and I personally don't know why they are even working there. However, every time I call Mate communicate service team it was all local, I guess the only downfall is we can't call them after working hours for support.

The internet connection is 95% reliable, most of the time when the internet speed tends to drop is from normal peak times and or terrible weather (no fault of their own). Their customer service is absolutely amazing. Fluent, clear and articulate English speakers that always handle my inquiries with a sense of urgency, I was never put on hold for a long period of time. I always get an e-mail or a call back from Mate Communicate when the lines are busy. Their reputation speaks for itself, I hope they continue to have the same quality of service in the future.

Accidentally stumbled on tho MATE and has been one of the best experiences I have ever had with a telecommunication company. Highly recommended need to let more Victorians know but please stay Australian good onya MATE.

Fantastic affordable reliable NBN!These guys helped me get internet when no one else would!Everyone else tried telling me I needed to pay hundreds-Mate said no you don’t,hooked it up and I had internet!Everytime I call customer service I get fast efficient service and they are always really lovely!!This is the first company in my life that I don’t hate dealing with!!!5Star service every time.

Only had it for a day so can’t really comment on it. Just wanted to commend the CSRS. Speed tested the internet and it is their advertised speeds. Very very reliable so far.

Signed up to Mate the other day with nbn 100 and switched my mobile plan over. Both have been great, I speed tested the nbn and had over 90mb/s and phone has good service everywhere. Couldn’t recommend this service enough, everyone I have spoken to have also been extremely helpful and friendly.

Very reliable internet service. Was so impressed with the efficient and prompt customer service we have bundled everything with Mate - home phone, mobiles and internet. No issues with service or speed which is a huge improvement on previous service provider constantly telling us we live in a black spot and that was the best we could expect . As I am not tech savvy it is refreshing to have a provider set up the modem so all I had to do was plug it in. Always provides updates at every stage of changeover to Mate and detailed step by step and FAQ information very useful. Thank you for the great service.

Had to connect to NBN so chose Mate and I am glad that I did. I have HCF connections and bought my own router. Mate organised everything with NBN for the technician to come. I configured router by myself but they do offer a help as well. It was very easy and straightforward process. Connection is stable don't have any dropouts, I choose unlimited and NBN100, on average my speed at evening is 70Mbps. When you call they very approachable. They using a lots of "mate" word

I have been with mate internet for about 6 months
I have found the service and speed to be very good.
They may not be the cheapest out there but when you speak to support, you hit an ozzie.
It makes a big difference to me to not have to battle thru a language barrier, and your keeping people employed here. For me a thumbs up

Overall a quick fast response for NBN connection. So far I am connecting at the speeds that are advertised. Signed up in the late afternoon and was connected later that night. Overall a great experience.

Was happy with the consistency of the speed and value for money, however the service didn’t end up meeting my needs.

I needed a provider with a more technical user portal where I could manage all of my needs and, where needed, troubleshoot my own connection problems.

I’d have no dramas recommending MATE to anyone looking for an affordable no frills service, just good value for money.

I didn’t need to contact tech support during my time with MATE so I can’t comment on their tech support and wait times.

it is reliable, fast and minimal interruptions, minimal down time, and the team in Mate is amazing, keep the good work going, i am hoping for more speed options is possible.

Mate is the best service for internet we have had no issues and have not had to contact the company
I would recommend them to friends and family
We hope to take out mobile phone contracts soon
