After being a Telstra (the BIG Guy) mobile SIM only customer for years, I thought it was time to look around for an improved monthly plan. MATE offered what I was looking for from Telstra, for half the price. Considering MATE uses a large chunk of the Telstra mobile network, and looking at coverage maps for where I travel, I could see that MATE had me covered. A real win-win. A recent trip along the south coast of NSW confirmed that mobile coverage and reliability is top notch. Very happy.

Pretty poor in value compared to other providers, data they offer is no more less for the price, and the data reception in areas is sketchy at best. And I live in a well developed area that is close to the CBD and competition have no issues.

very reliable down load speeds are excellent no problems network coverage is really good costomer service is very good we have been with mate communicate for 2 years now we are very happy we are with them not telstra anymore

Rude, arrogant, absolutely no customer service.
Don't waste your time trying to deal with these people - they have all done the same course on how NOT to give any service or resolution to any problems. I don't believe any of their " Good Reviews" at all.

It sucks I can't be with MATE right now. I went through the whole life-cycle with them; moving from Telstra, setup problems (my end, though they still helped) moving house, line problems at new address, adding a SIM, removing internet and keeping the SIM and finally ending my SIM plan and entire relationship with MATE. There was no hesitation of help with these guys. Even if it was outside call centre hours, i'd drop them an email and some one would get back to me ASAP.
Now, to have all that excellent service, on top of the best rate? It's hard to say no. I talked probably 4 of my friends into signing up. When my living arrangements change, I'll be signing back up with MATE no questions asked.

The Network coverage is fantastic & the download speeds are fast. Customer service is efficient always happy to help or fix an issue. Offering deals & checking in. Great move moving to mate.

Going through Telstra the coverage is great without the terrible customer service. Good data allotment and speed for a great price. Nothing to fault just like their fixed internet service.

Great prices for premium features and speed.
No downtime so far.
Friendly service and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Moved from Telstra some time ago and have no regrets whatsoever.

Network Coverage is great, and Data is great as well I'm pleased that I don't have to deal with Telstra, Because Telstra SUCK! I would defiantly recommend LETS BE MATES.

Excellent product. You are on the Telstra network so you have great coverage at such a cheap price. I think you have to have their home internet to be able to get the phone service though.

Excellent mobile deal been with these guys since got NBN and Over 12-24 months NO DROPOUTS! Even when Telstra upgraded their lines, in my area

Customer service is top notch, always keep you updated with any issues and even received a discount without requesting one! Direct debit means I don’t even have to think about it!

Quality of my coverage is as good as Telstra but much more affordable.

Hi, I cant default the service its been so good and the customer support has been top notch. I'm one happy customer and look forward to the future with you guys :) :) I do hope we get 5g support in the future.

On approx 3 occasions in the past month I have made calls from my car and service has gone from 4G to 3G then call dropped out. I was previously a Telstra customer and can hardly recall getting dropouts

Nothing could be simpler. Really impressed with the effortlessly way everything was done. Highly recommended. Internet excellent, signal always present . I would not have any hesitation in recommending Mate to any of my family and friends.

Only new to Mate! And so impressed that if it is this easy and has such good service that I will be swapping our whole family over to mate communicate!!

6 days to activate but I think the problem was back at Woolworths mobile other than that I’am happy to be on board with mate, only one other thing and that is how to access premium phone numbers

Mate mobile network coverage is excellent, no drop out what so ever and download speed is very good so I'm very happy with the service provider by Mates so far.
