Hi mac d.
We can confirm you can keep your existing mobile number if you sign up for one of our mobile plans.
To activate your SIM and keep your mobile number, you do so via a self activation process online, which you can complete online once you receive the SIM card here: https://www.letsbemates.com.au/activate-mobile-sim/

Do you have any plans to support it in the future?

Hi Jacob,
At this stage, this is not something that Telstra wholesale provides to us, so there are no plans for this unless Telstra does offer it to resellers.

Is there a way to not add data if included data runs out? I know that each extra 1gb is $10, but if I finish data I don’t wanna incur extra charges.

Hi Foxie,
Unfortunately, this is an automatic feature from Telstra that we are unable to turn off.
We do provide SMS alerts in near real-time when you reach 50%, 85% and 100% of your monthly data allowance, and you can check your data usage on the handset by dialling *159# and then pressing SEND/CALL.
Hope this helps!
Thanks Vanessa. Will give it a try when my current plan expires. Cheers
