Great service
The NBN connection has been faultless, no dropouts to date. Only issue was getting the NBN serviceman here, very tedious, but they were helpful as well, when they finally got here.
MATE communication with me throughout has been of high standard, cannot fault their customer service.

NBN Connection is shocking, as was my ADSL.
Yes constantly dropping out, both ADSL & NBN. Mate previously sent a tech out, however my connections have not improved, even when I upgraded from ADSL to NBN... I’ve had my hands full and haven’t had time to search alternative providers, but I’m done with using this service. I’ve had this issue for a few years now and find I have a better connection hot-spotting my mobile data.

If the nbn connection is dropping out, then there is obviously an infrastructure issue. If this is the case, the problem will just follow you to the next provider. Have you contacted our support team to try and assist with this on nbn? You mentioned we sent a technician out, was this an nbn technician for your nbn connection, or was this a Telstra technician for your ADSL? Down to earth aussies, so happy with everything!!!!
Great in communicating line problems and fixing times (not many issues anyway) huge $ savings compared to other companies. Always talk to a aussie when calling up and no long waiting periods either! I highly recommend using mate communicate.

Great speed!
Great speed throughout the day including peak times.
I’ve been with Mate Communicate for about 2 years now and never had any issues regarding speeds.

Great connection. Easy set up. Great communication.
Pretty spot on re connection. Very few problems. The odd drop out and have a reboot the modem however this has only been a couple of time.
Customer service / care team are excellent. Friendly and knowledgable.
Reasonably priced and local call centre.
All in all cannot fault.

Simply the best
Just too easy to deal with, order the sim card as Mate use telstra. Card arrived, so we activate on the weekend, two hours later the phone service is in action. Made a number of calls to New Zealand as these are in our Plan. I referred a friend, true to there word we have a credit on our bill, no emails or phone calls, true technology in action, Thank you Mate!

Easy and quick installation - all happened within a week of signing up.
Internet speeds are consistently fast.
Affordable!
I needed to return the modem (as I discovered after the installation that my existing modem was NBN compatible) and the customer service and process to do this were smooth and easy.
I like how the call centre and support staff are based in Australia - a testament to MATE being committed to local employment, which is clearing lacking in the telecommunication industry in this country.
Highly recommended!

Started off a bit rocky but perfect now
A few problems with connection when I first joined but more an NBN problem than Mates . Since problem sorted perfect thank you . No drop outs good speed great service from support staff . I switched from IINet after being with them for 16 years and am happy I did .

Great Team Delivering a Great Service
My experience with Mate has been a positive one, I have been with them for 2 months and from the initial phone call to sign up and to the subsequent connection it has been seamless. I have had no problems to date, no dropouts and consistent fast speeds. If you're looking at getting the NBN or thinking about changing providers I certainly recommend Mate.

Excellent reliability and customer service
I have had few downtime from time to time, but I'd say less than 2 or 3% of the time, probably even less than that. Really happy with their service, they've been pretty responsive when I'd require something out of them.

Their Aussie call centre couldn't be more friendlier, more knowledgeable and more welcoming compared to other support groups used by other telcos, which lack empathy and understanding. Wish I had used them earlier.

Considering we are only getting one or two disconnections a week or so, probably due to circuit load on this ole house, one of the first in the country to be wired for electricity, a long long time back... We are waiting for the public health act restrictions to be lifted before allowing unnecessary entry into our home. I am testing on-site and believe any anomalous disconnections to be from fluctuations from powered devices which draw inconsistent loads, as we have both ballast for fish tank lights, and an electrotech workshop, and also had moved the router around several times, which apparently the VR500V TPLINK doesn't like so much. At any rate, I am participating in market research for ieatwords.com.au, why are we doing this here ? It seems inappropriate, if you had a concern you could contact me directly rather than use my review as a launchpad for two-,way marketing communications. I feel it is a little manipulative. Well you need to ask them directly. By calling them. i think you can if you call them probully a month in advance. They dont charge any sign up fee or exit fee.

All of our plans are month to month and we are unable to suspend or place an account on hold.
However, you could cancel your service before the start of your next billing cycle and then sign up to a new account to reactivate the service when you are back.

We can confirm the soul mates nbn 100 is suitable for 6+ users, however, if only 1 person can connect at a time, this definitely sounds like an issue.
