AKERA is the best!
My husband and I purchased this car and we just love it. Mazda has always been sleek with their design, simple yet sophisticated. And I loveeee the AC as it's so cold (I easily sweat -_-"). Can't fault anything on this car, a little bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. Mazda CX-5 AKERA is definitely worth the money. From their automatic adjustable cruise control, auto brake, blind spot sensors on both rear mirrors, lane assist, all is wonderful.

Not too bad
This car is ok, I have had mazdas before and went back for a bigger car. The gadgets are good with the reverse camera and blue tooth. I only got the basic model. The car is a bit smaller than I first thought as I am struggling with room after having to fit two baby seats in the back.

Love it
I previously had a Hyundai IX35 (which my daughter now drives) - tried to replace it with a Tucson which I would have been happy with but they could not provide one without a long wait. So I went down the road to Mazda and they had just what I wanted immediately available. A step up on quality, smoothness and standard from the Hyundai (which I thought was great anyway) so.. CX5 is terrific in my view.

Love it!
I have only had this car about a month and I love it. Everyone I spoke to prior to buying it had rave reviews for their CX 5s. It's Great to drive. Comfortable, quiet and economical. Good sound system. Numerous safety features. Touch screen often doesn't respond well but safer to use dials whilst driving anyway.

Great SUV
Bought Maxx Sport 2.0 Auto '16 after comparing Nissan XTrail, Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson.
CX 5 have the best seat! . Responsive, fast acceleration, very fuel efficient, comfortable.
It's big enough but we hate the middle bump on the rear section. Wish it has more boot space though. .

Love the look and comfort of the Mazda CX-5
I absolutely love the Mazda CX-5 as it is not too big and not too small. The boot space is also big enough although not overly huge. The car is not too noisy at all although the istop can take a bit of getting used to and will sometimes stop and start and be very touchy. There is plenty of legroom and the interior is very simple yet effective. I would love a better stereo however. It has ample cup holders which is always a bonus and decent sized glove box. The reversing camera is great as it is hard to see over your shoulders.
Has been quite reliable so far and the running coats are quite your average costs. Overall just a great car and am very happy with my decision to buy a Mazda CX-5 and my last Mazda also in fact. Great model!

I love my Mazda!
One of the best cars I've ever owned. I've had it for close toc2 years now with no issues. The seats are amazingly comfortable, and the leg room in the back is impressive! I love all the additional safety features, and also the look! It's super cute, yet still spacious and functional!

Family Friendly!
I have the 2.5L CX-5 Sports Maxx, purchased on August 2016 and has great performance! It was recommended by a friend who works for Audi and he said it is great for families. The car is spacious, looks great on the exterior but the 2017 model looks better. I find that the 2.0L CX-5 doesn't have enough power during the test drive. The 2.5L Sports Maxx has the option of turning the Sports drive on and off which is very handy and saves fuel. Overall, I personally find my car safer to drive and is very good on fuel. to school and swimming classes and I only use approximately $50 a week. I am looking into buying the CX-9 in the future so my husband can drive my CX-5 to work (he drives long distance). Very reliable and if I service my car at my Mazda dealer at Frankston, it does not cost much. Best investment!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very versatile vehicle
Excellent performance
SUV means no wheel alignment troubles that I used to have with cars!!!
Drives well on different terrain
Husband doesn't like the i stop feature which switches off the engine automatically when you stop but it automatically restarts and I hardly notice it.
Good legroom for tall people in front
Very reliable, quiet to run
Roomy boot
Would choose a Mazda anyday after having this one and highly recommend it to others

Love it
This is our first SUV car (always had sedans or small hatchbacks before) and I am in love.
Awesome awesome boot space and easily fits my 2 kids rear facing carseats in it.
I love how all Mazda's drive and can really tell the difference between other cars. Reverse camera is very handy. Have had no issues with it so far and would happily buy another Mazda in the future

Easy to drive
Bought this car a few months ago. Found it very easy to drive from day 1. Love the many options it has to make driving, parking etc easier and safer. Have had some long trips recently due to cyclone Debbie with property damage and found we could fit all we needed in it. First SUV we have had and very happy with it.

Great SUV
This is a fun/pleasure to drive SUV.
The performance is great from the Turbo charged Diesel together with great fuel economy .I tow a Jayco Eagle camper and hardly know its there .Road handling is second to none however if there is a complaint it would be some road noise from certain road surfaces but not all.
All the safety features built into this SUV are great and does everything but drive itself letting you know everything that is going on around you while driving.
Seating is great with electric controlled adjusting and if anyone else d...Read more

Great SUV with performance and safety
Having previously driven mainly Toyota Corolla I was looking for a vehicle that offered comfort, bigger boot space and performance. After looking at a variety of SUVs the final decision was to go with the Mazda CX5.
Have found the CX5 to be a great car to drive in, having taken it on both city and long distance drives (including some dirt roads). There has been talk about the noise in this model but have not found it to be any noisier than other cars I have driven before.
Interior is mainly black and feels premium. Dashboard, legroom (fro...Read more
nt and back) is quite roomy and comfortably seats 5 people. The 40:20:40 split seats have been quite useful in moving some cargo and the boot is easily able to fit a few large sized suitcases. Safety pack is standard and includes blind spot monitoring, sensors and AEBS (although the latest model now works at higher speeds).Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
It's a nice car to drive
the car is perfact to drive, very quite cabin the only problem I couls find is the rear mirror gets the vibration if cd player is even a little loud, very good fual economy for sure, very specious and comfirtable, oever all a quality car worth the price tag, not like BMW

I love this car!
This car is excellent, it looks fantastic and it runs efficiently. We have plenty of room inside and in the boot, which is great for family trips. The engine auto stops at lights to save on fuel, the reverse camera is excellent and I love the screen + Bluetooth. There us also a USB port you can use to charge your phone!

Ok, but needed to fix something within 2 mths
The car was generally ok, but the sales and service people were very unprofessional. The car had some problems with the braking system which ended up getting replaced within 2 mths. After replacement, they forgot to bleed the braking line system and trapped some air bubbles in the hydraulic system causing spongy brake.
Cars nowadays are no where near as good as in the past i guess...

Good family car
Absolutely love my new cx5. Great looking. Plenty in car space. The Maxx version had blackspot sensor and auto stops engine at red lights. It also comes with reverse camera. I have chosen to add front parking sensor only cost less than 200 with Mazada. will recommend cx5 to others.

Good choice for SUV
cx5 is good for family to use. More space to put our stuff. One important thing is we save a lot for the petrol fee. Cx5 look fresh and young. It is very smooth and quite when I driving. The sensor on the side mirror made me feel more confident and comfortable.

Great practical SUV
Got the 2.5L MAXX Sport. Engine has decent grunt uphills & overtaking, smooth automatic transmission, easy to park for a car it's size (especially with reversing camera), lots of storage and boot space, upmarket cabin feel and looks great. Cons - stop-start is annoying and cannot be permanently deactivated and relatively high servicing costs.

Perfect family car (for my family)
When we discovered we were having our second baby, we knew we needed to upgrade our car. The small little Peugeot 308 wasn't going to work anymore. We thoroughly researched cars in this category and chose this one for it's value for money, it's performance, the standard features and the space in the boot!
We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bigger family car!

Thinking of buying a Mazda CX 5 MAXX, 2017 or 2018. How can I find out where these models have been assembled?

Ask the dealer- look at the ID plate along with VIN number on the vehicle in the showroom. Make sure you clearly indicate in writing, eg annotate in the marg8n I& need be on any sales contracts that accepting delivery will be contingent on manufacture being in a certain place. Mine made in Japan.

Hi, my 2016 Maxx sport is only getting just under 500kms per tank and I only pour premium unleaded. Does anyone have this problem and would Mazda fix this issue?

What kind of fuel economy are you getting from a 2.5 petrol? I'm looking at picking up a 2015-16 GT and in the research phase now - just want to get an idea of the 'real world' economy rather than the sticker claims which are conducted in a lab.

I did a trip to Wagga on the weekend and achieved 8 litres per 100 km for a trip total of 1900 kms which was very nice to see, when I fill the vehicle (I only use 98 octane) the range shows up as 717 km. KF 9/17 AWD model Sports.
In city fuel economy is pathetic. It's like the car's always on the 1st n 2nd gear. :(
