Excellent
An excellent manual breast pump - easy to assemble, use and clean. I went on to buy an Avent Isis, which was also a good pump but I much preferred the Medela.
I really loved this pump. I used it consistently for a few weeks and was distraught when I left it on the stove too long and it melted! I found it extremely comfortable to use (I had size D-DD breasts when breastfeeding) and it was able to get milk out even when I wasn't completely full.
Nothing particular. It was expensive but I had planned to use it a lot, so I would likely have gotten my money's worth.

Not a fan. Paid $99 for it which I think was way too much, considering I've just scored myself a brand new Medela mini electric pump for $90 (hopefully I have better luck with that). I had way too many issues with getting it to grab onto my breast and I also had problems when trying to do it at the same time as feeding off the other breast as the one handed pumping with a baby in the way was just not do-able.
Swivel feature is handy. Easy to clean. Doesn't hurt your hands even when you've been pumping for a while

I used this pump everyday for 3 weeks to increase supply. Since then I have bought the Medela Mini Electric Plus. It's a great pump to start off with and the two stage pump means that stimulating let down is quick and easy. I would highly recommed this pump if you need to pump before going out or need to express a little after feeding to help with your supply.
The Harmony is a small and compact, making it easy to assemble and use. It's great for expressing once a day, relieving pressure and increasing supply. The maneuverability of the pump mak...Read more

We were tossing up whether to go electric or manual for the occasional pump (about a feed a day). Have found this pump is completely adequate for what we need. Easy to use. Highly recommended. We got an extra special deal with the 'city style breastpump bag' coming free with the pump (which included 4 bottles, cool-storage bag & a modern-looking handbag to hold the pump etc.) So great value!
I found this pump great! Easy to use, assemble and clean (can be cleaned in microwave steriliser). Came with a soft & hard breast shield to use. Reasonabl...Read more
y priced. Allows you to guide how much suction you need/comfortable with & allows for quick/easy let down with the dual pumping actions. Completely comfortable to use (including hand motions). Medella bottles are BPH free & can be stored in fridge/freezer. Nothing I can think of!

I am not sure why Medela has such a good name given this is the second product I've bought at substantial cost and been disappointed with. Their breastpumping products have sharp uncomfortable edges and don't come with a comfortable shield. The pump feels very flimsy given that it cost almost 100 dollars! And most importantly, it also doesn't pump very well probably because the the "cup" size is smaller than the Avent Isis pump which is better for a wider variety of breast sizes. Also, the Australian market seems to be stuck with the older mo...Read more
dels of the Harmony pump (different than what you see on their website) and it isn't clear whether the older models are completely BPA free. The company advertises the BPA-free aspect on its website but it is not clear if this applies to these older models--BPA free is NOT advertised on the box as it is in the newer models and that's the reason I originally bought it. Easy to clean. That's about it. Cheaply made, uncomfortable, does not pump milk well.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

When I was in hospital, I found it very difficult to use their horrible beast pumps. But this pump is comfortable, and easy to do. Of course if you are pumping very frequently for a long period of time you may need to consider an electric. But I use it every day and my hand doesn't hurt.
This is such a smooth breast pump, I love it. It has two different functions one to help with a let down, the other to express at a smooth and steady pace.
The filter is a little fragile and is easy to break.

Great product - you can really feel that a lot of research has gone into the design! It's so nice to use and fits discreetly into a handbag!
You can pull it apart and fit it in your handbag! I actually bought a small thermal lunch box bag and can fit the pump, three bottles and accessories all in there! I take it everywhere as my son can be fussy on the breast when there is a lot going on around him. Works great - I did have the Tommee Tipee manual pump and it was terrible, the Medela harmony is very comfortable, swift soft and nice to use!

OK
Expressing milk was not easy for me but I don't think it was due to this pump in particular... just my physiology. Nevertheless, it was annoying to have to spend about $100 on a pump that I have used only 4 times in order to find this out. If you can, try to borrow a pump first before buying one, or buy one secondhand (manufacturers will tell you not to buy secondhand due to a risk transmitting diseases via breastmilk, but thoroughly sterilizing a secondhand pump should prevent this).
Simple to use, easy to clean. Can pump one-handed.
Could be improved if it came with a storage container for the pump and all its accessories. Didn't come with a teat for the bottle.

I think this product was amazing. My midwife at the hospital suggested this. I found it less painful when trying to express. The flow was great. Even though it takes a little bit of time and effort i think if was very gentle on the breast. Very easy to clean and easy to store milk in the bottle that you pump. Very light and can be taken anywhere as well. Best of all very economical. For faster pumping once in a while it can be attched to an electric head. Overrall 100% satisfied with it. Will use it again for next bubba
Everything. I enjoyed using this product

Good
I thought this pump was cheap and very easy to use. If you need to pump for comfort or if you are going back to work for a day or two this would be a good pump to use. I bought it so that I could store milk for those "just in case" moments. I bought the medela sterile bags to store the milk in the freezer for up to 6 months! Good company- great product.
Easy to use, even with sore joints. (apparently sore joints can be hormonal when breast feeding- really annoying when trying to use a pump!)
The soft option of the cup that you put on your breast can change colour when put in the dishwasher.

I liked pretty much everything about this pump. The size means you can pop it in your bag and use it when you're out and about. The only thing is they soft cup option turns yellow when you boil it. Not use if it goes the same thing when using the solution.
It's compact and come apart completely for easy cleaning and sterilizing. Can easily take with you anywhere. Easy pumping action that can be achieved with one hand (takes practice though)
Soft cup turns yellow once you boil it

After using both the Medela and the Avent I found the Avent easier to use and it has the added advantage of coming with bottles and teats.
If you can afford it pay the extra for the Avent electric (which also comes with the parts to use as a manual pump)
Easy to use
No teat provided with the storage bottle and only one storage bottle provided - therefore purchased Avent bottles
