Excellent little pump, it's great that you can switch between battery and mains power.
The motor is loud and the power cord isn't very long :(
Other than that, it expresses a good amount of milk in a reasonable amount of time.
painless, cheaper than some other electric pumps, and has a great result.
Motor is LOUD

This is a good option for those wanting an electric pump but only plan to use it occasionally, just as long as you do not need to pump discreetly (as loud motor noise). However, if I had my time again, I probably would have bought a hand pump. If you plan to pump regularly I would highly recommend a more expensive version - I hired a pump from the chemist and it was far superior (but would also be a lot more expensive to purchase).
It is relatively inexpensive (compared to other electric pumps), compact.
The motor is quite noisy, and this can sound extremely loud if you are wanting to express during the night. I did sometimes have trouble getting enough milk but I am not sure if that was due to the pump or not.

Overall a great little machine. I couldn't have done without it. So much better than the Avent manual pump I took to hospital with me that hasn't been used again since getting out of hospital and purchasing this one. Using it once to twice daily at this stage (1 month in) and no problems.
lightweight, easy to use, easy to assemble. Gets out a reasonable amount of milk efficiently. Can use with batteries or plug in. Reasonably comfortable to use. Limited parts makes it easy to pull apart, clean, sterilise and put back together again.

I love love love this. Was using a madela pump from the chemist as I had problems with breast feeding at the start. I have used it multiple times a day and it's still going strong. Parts are easy to pull apart, use and clean. Gets a good amount of milk out each time I use it. Small enough to take any where with you. I love it and recommend it to anyone
Easy to use, light, can use anywhere (including in the passenger seat of the car) uses battery and mains power
can be a little loud but I didn't find it a problem

I haven't used this all that much as i'm too lazy to express very often. However it is very easy to use, if a little noisy. It is very easy to clean and sterilize with the Medela microwave steam bags. It is possible to directly attach zip lock bags for freezer storage of milk which is handy too
Compact and very easy to use. Can be plugged in or used with batteries. Reasonably priced.
Instructions imply you have to boil the equipment to sterilize it but I found some Medela microwave sterilizing bags at the chemists and reasoned I should be able to use them!

I went out and got this one the day i got out of hospital as the one that i had orginally bought was not doing the job right. I used this pump 5-6 times a day as my son had issues latching and i needed to keep expressing my milk. I'm sure it's not recommended to be used that much but i did and it was great! I even used it in the car as we ahd to travel from Brisbane to Melbourne 2 weeks after our son was born! The only thing was the noise... Quite a noisey machine but i use to just pop a blanket over it and it would dull it. Was a very good ma...Read more
chine for expressing and got the job done very quickly as it mimmicks a baby's sucking and had different settings to adjust the level of suction so you could have it at a level that was comfy for you. For the cost of the maching it is a very good investment. Great machine and very cost effective. Better than having to hire a machine. Also portable! Very loud and a bit harder to clean than some others.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very quick and easy to dismantle and steralise in the microwave, my husband used to complain about the noise in our apartment at night (as there just wasn't anywhere far enough away so that he couldn't hear it) that said I wouldn't have been without one, I'd bought an Avent manual pump when I was pregnant but quickly found that this just wasn't efficient enough as it took me almost 30 minutes to empty each side on the manual but the electric got it down to around 10 minutes each side which is much more manageable.

Interesting that most other reviewers found this an efficient pump. My experience has been otherwise. Not once have I had over 10ml of milk despite pumping for over 30 minutes each time.
- can be plugged in our used with batteries.
- compact size
- not efficient - could not express much milk.

I think this breast pump is FANTASTIC and the best I know of! I would recommend it to anyone. I felt that the price is not bad for the excellent product you get for it. I used one of these in the hospital to bring on my milk and it worked wonders.
Strong suction that mimics babies sucking, easy to hold, brings out milk much easier than other brands and is very comfortable.
A little loud

I've used it thrice & am now quite confident using it (no need to look at instructions) so it's simple & easy to use. I didn't get much milk first time around because I had the suction setting too low but once I've adjusted it higher without being ucomfortable milk just flowed. I'm not sure how long it will last coz I plan to express 2-3 times per week.
At $130 I thought I'd recoup some of it back by selling it later on but it's made for one user only & only has 6 month warranty. If I had another chance I would look at price of rent...Read more
ing for 6 months & whether it would be significantly less than $130. Efficiently expresses milk (110 mls in 15 mins), recommended by hospitals & Aus. Breastfeeding Assn., compact & easy to use. Great for busy mums with limited time on their hands. Noisy, only recommended for occasional pumping (product literature not specific on how they define occasional eg. Twice a week?), warranty only for 6 months so may not be built for the long haul. Also the individual bits cannot be sterilized via microwave so I have to sterilize it separately from my other bottles.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

This is a great pump. I used it for a month once a day (when cutting out the night feed) and now use as needed when going out. Very quick - approx. 5 mins per breast. Comfortable to use. Compact and very easy to use and clean. I could express whilst making a cuppa! We didn't think the noise was an issue and I did have to use overnight in a serviced apartment. Highly recommend.
Really easy to use, very efficient and can be used with either power or battery.
Did not come with a teat for the bottle so had to buy seperately.

I used it for the first time this morning and plan to use it everyday for the next few months! My daughter has a preference for my right breast so in order to 'even' my self out I am going to be pumping the left one like crazy. I am very impressed at how quickly I can get the milk to come out without having to spend all day pumping and getting a sore forearm in the meantime. Plus now I'll be able to stockpile the freezer instead of just pumping for single feeds.
Very fast. Can express in 5 minutes what took nearly 1/2 hour with a manual pump
SO VERY NOISY. And the cord is a bit short and at 6am I couldn't be asked searching for an extension cord so I am sitting very close to the wall!!

This breast pump is the best one I have used. I like that it can be used with batteries or plugged in, so you can move around if you need to. It pumps fast or slow, you control the suction. It is a bit noisy so at night I had to go away from the bedrooms, but it wasn't too bad. It was fairly easy to clean, breast pumps all contain a few pieces and need to be pulled together after each use, so it wasn't anything different. The only thing is it can't be microwave sterilied, but I found it went well with the Milton steriliser.
Easy to use, portable.
A bit noisy.

I bought a manual pump when I was pregnant but when I was in hospital very soon realised that I would need an electric pump to help my supply along. My darling husband rushed out to buy this as soon as we got home and we haven't looked back - 5 months later we are all enjoying effortless, unassisted breastfeeding!
Easy to use and setup. Cost effective opposed to renting a bigger unit. I used this to help establish breastfeeding/supply and later to express for a freezer stockpile for when I had to be away from baby.
The device can not be microwave sterilised so it was a bit of a pain to clean.

I had alot of trouble breastfeeding and ended up having to pump my milk at every feed. Since I bought this pump when I was pregnant and didn't know this would happen I ended up using this for every feed. In about two weeks the motor started to go funny and I had to fiddle with it to get the suction right.
I also found that my breast could slip out of the hard cup if I wasn't concentating on holding the pump correctly.
I liked that you could express directly into the bottles and all of the plastic is BPA free.

I HIGHLY recommend this product - it's super value for money and will last a very long time! The fact that you express directly into the feeding bottles which are free of the dangerous plastic additive makes it a complete pump and storage system in one!
My son was in special care at the hospital as he came early - they had a few different brand pumps for use and I preferred the Medela! That's why I bought this one for home. It has an adjustable speed/suction function so when I first began breastfeeding and was very tender the lowest speed was q...Read more

Overall I found this very easy to operate and extremely handy for expressing milk when required. It actually helped my milk supply to grow during the first few weeks after my baby was born. I found it especially useful when I encountered sore nipples and needed relief from breast feeding, helping me continue to feed my baby with breast milk to my delight. The only negative thing I could say was that it didn't include any teats which would have been very useful.
Very easy to use, compact, Different suction levels
No teats included, Needs power to operate (cant use it anywhere)

I love it so much! Wish I had discovered this product when I was breastfeeding my first baby. It's quite pricey, but it's worth it since you'll be using it everyday, a few times a day, for a few months or even years. Moreover, what is the best thing to give your baby if not your own milk?!

How do i charge this breast pump...its sounds so flat and i have no idea how to charge it or knw if it is charging?
3 answers
I'm not aware of it being chargeable. You keep it plugged in for constant power, or you place batteries inside for cordless/travel use and replace batteries when they are flat.
