Quiet fan with very modern look.
I bought 5 of these fans from an online store. I got 3 with the LED light and 2 without. They are fantastic. So quiet and very good airflow. The light can dim as well which is a bonus. Blades are very sturdy and good quality. Highly recommended.
Purchased in February 2021 at Lighting Illusions.

Very quiet fan
We purchased this fan for our bedroom so our main concern was noise. It is whisper quiet on the low speeds which is all we need. The light is quite harsh as it is a cool LED and it flickers if you try to dim it, but we can live with it.

Perfect for low ceiling heights
Airflow is good. Shape and profile is simple. Not a flashy design. Slow speeds (1-3) really slow. Remote response not very good. No display on remote to know which speed it is running on. Once off, you can't turn on using wall switch. Must use remote to turn on. Overall good value for money, especially for low ceiling heights in a decent size room.

Nice fan, but terrible and not working light
The fan is very quiet and fairly good. However, the light is really bad and flickering. I asked Mercator to change the flickering light, which they did, but the new one is flickering too. And now they ignore me... Also, we bought 2 of them, and both have flickering light.
So basically, we can't use the light...

Mercator City Low Profile LED Ceiling Fan with Light
I purchased the Mercator City Low Profile LED Ceiling fan with light and my electrician installed it. Unfortunately, I didn't check if the LED light was 'WARM' or 'COOL'. It is cool, so when you put the light on in the room it looks like you are back in the 70's under fluorescent light - it is truly awful. I wrote to Mercator to see if they could swap the light section of the ceiling fan to a 'WARM' LED light. They said 'no'. What a waste of $310. I do think it is strange that Mercator have some ceiling fan lights with WARM LED but they c...Read more
an't interchange them. I guess they will catch up when everyone complains about this ceiling fan light! My advice would be to only buy the ceiling fan and then use normal 'warm' light lamps or pendants in your room. The light is truly awful. I have learnt my lesson.Similar opinion? My mains power wet off now I can't re sinc the remote. I did the turn power back on and hold the reset button for ten seconds within a minute but no joy? Any suggestions?

Sorry I haven't had this problem. Is the light switch on the wall turned on? I have found that if we have turned the switch on the wall off that the remote won't work.

Hi,
You don't say anything in the review about the fan itself - is it quiet?, is the air flow ok /speed selection is suitable for a bedroom? I don't care about the light as it wont be used.

Sorry - I can canelled the mercator fan review as it was incorrect. The fan I bought was a Lucci airfuzion radar dc ceiling fan from beacon lighting. Speeds on that fan are varied and slow speed allows it to be left on all night - the fan is very quiet.
