The whole process of the build was very well managed by our site supervisor. My husband worked in Melbourne during the 4 months of our build and our SS was very accommodating with phone calls and updates during this time. Any concerns or questions and they were answered. We could not be more grateful and thankful for our amazing SS.
Our biggest downside was after our build in which we have had 4 months of being ignored and being told it is our problem not Metricon's and there's nothing they can do.

We’re in Albury and have found the whole process easy and would definitely recommend Metricon to anyone up in northern VIC or southern NSW.

Our sales rep was excellent and very knowledgeable. Not pushy at all and was led by what we said was important to us to enable him to make suggestions before finalising our initial quote.

The build was managed really well for the most part.

The initial stages were great, with the sales consultant guiding me through all the options available for my financial position, with the helpful hint of providing me with a successful broker. Thank you for that, by the way, much appreciated.

The customer supervisor was really helpful during initial stages and stages leading up to the contract signing, working with my time lines and within my pace to deliver my building permit and organising the studio appointment, which was terrific.

We started the experience extremely excited to build our first home. The sales consultant & studio M team we had were fantastic answering any questions we had and making any relevant changes.

But once the build started the experience changed for the worst, we didn’t get the initial site meeting with our site supervisor [name removed] to go through our contract. Our build went for just over 7 month with a period were one weeks work was completed over a seven week period.

We recently built a Denver 45mk2 with Metricon Regional. Our Project Manager [name removed] did a terrific job. Plenty of communication, punctual and helpful, plus also attentive.

From quotation, contract signing, Studio M appointment, pre construction, construction and completion, we didn't have a bad thing to say. Like every build, there were issues along the way, most minor, some not so minor. But there is always problems with every single build. We cannot fault the customer service that we received from [name removed] and [name removed], they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

Our home did take a little longer then expected, due to the product used on our timber floors being faulty, which is no-one ones fault at all. Metricon were great with this slight speed hump and had the manufacture of the timber floors re-lay them for us.

Initially we thought that Metricon were great to build with but sadly we are feeling very disillusioned with the finished product and Metricon's response to the issues. We have terrible brickwork with mortar gaps that vary from 2 mm to around 30 mm with multiple cracks throughout the mortar work. Additionally, the mortar in many places appears very weak and can be scratched out with a finger nail. The mortar really needs to be checked by an accredited laboratory to check its strength - this has also been a recommendation of an independent build...Read more
