Expensive but fantastic
We have used many brands over the years - Goodyear, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Pirelli and most recently Yokohama BluEarth. Dunlops came with the car and based on that experience, we won't go there again if we can help it. Yohohamas are great from price, performance - grip, tyre roll, noise perspectives.
So what about Michelin? They came with our car. Won't have considered them if they weren't because they are expensive. But buy are they good. They grip so well and wear so well. I feel like I am glued on the road with them. That said, they are 235/45 R18 which are pretty wide. Will definitely consider getting them next time if the price is right!

I realize that my car comes in at a hefty 1.8 Tonnes but that was a bit hard to swallow.
Fitted another set rotating them at every 5000 klms instead of 10.000 and clocked up 16.000 Klms a very...Read more

Much better substitute then OEM Michelin tyres
These tyres have lasted 70000Km's on my 2002 Nissan Maxima. They are the second set on the car. The first set were Michelin Pilot Primacy's which came fitted on the car. I chose these tyres because they were Michelin, and because they were $235/each instead of $480 for the Michelin OEM replacement.
And to be quite honest I did not notice any difference between the two tyres. I got exactly the same mileage from the previous set and handling was still great. If anything these tyres were a bit more comfortable. Both tyres were 93V rated and made ...Read more
