See the Best Barrel Vacuum Cleaners in 2022 as rated by Australians on ieatwords.com.au.
I bought a year ago Miele Vaccum Cleaner, Blizzard CX-1 Excellence Powerline SKCR3. and it has terrible smell now.
It is advised by Miele Tech that I have passed over water and bad smell has caused for that. I bought for $699 and now Miele wants $270 for repairing after in warranty time. not recommended at all and poor customer service from Miele and Harvey Norman Thomastown.
Purchased at Harvey Norman for $699.00.

Easiest Vacuum ever!
This vacuum is a pleasure to use. I can see how much dirt and dust it has picked up with the clear easy to clean bagless compartment. This has 4 settings for different carpets and speed. Excellent on all types of flooring.
I've used it to clean my car, all the hard to reach places... my car interior looks new!
Thanks for producing a great product thats cheap and easy to maintain.
Purchased in September 2021 at Myers.

comfort mode
why does my Miele keep turning it's self off into comfort mode and I have cleaned both filters,
it's becoming unusable and it's not very old.
I am not impressed at all with this vacuum

uld recommend you have the machine serviced by a Miele service partner https://www.miele.com.au/domestic/find-a-miele-partner-384.htm to have the machine checked. Worst vacuum I’ve ever bought
Worst vacuum I have ever owned. A back breaker. You have to bend down to adjust suction as no release on hand piece. The floor tool clogs constantly- bend over pick it up unclog-hopeless on carpet- brush tool for edges - struggle to get it to extend and then bristles not long enough and particularly bad as can’t be put on extension so guess what- bend over again! One vacuum and my back and wrists are aching. Absolutely the worst vacuum I have ever used. It’s also heavy and very hard to push the head causing it to run into my furniture as you ha...Read more
ve to push too hard.ill have to try to off load it as didn’t use it in the 1st 30 days so can’t return it. I’ll go and buy another brand with a power head and all the features I need . This one is not fit for purposePurchased in February 2021 for $599.00.

Bagless
Bought this because was both Miele and bagless and it is a lovely machine. Take the point about the dusting brush being a bit short but I don’t dust with my vacuum so doesn’t worry me. I agree that that the cord is a bit short and I don’t find emptying the canister all that predictable (I’ve had to write how in marker to remind me each time), but easy once I remember. Haven’t had a Dyson but I’ve used one and I think this is probably better.
Purchased in January 2021.

Amazing Vacuum cleaner!
This is definitely my favourite vacuum cleaner, picks up so much dust, definitely more than a Dyson, which I previously owned. I use it on tiles and carpet. Couldn’t be happier!

Very disappointed
I have always had Miele appliances and unfortunately I am very disappointed with the Miele Blizzard. Whilst the cleaning capability is ok, it certainly doesn't have as much power as a bagged Miele.
The hose and cable are much shorter than other Miele's, the bottom of the dust container doesn't seal 100% and leaks a small amount of dust, the small wheels struggle to make it over the cable and is quite heavy and clunky.
In my opinion, there are a number of design flaws that really need to be ironed out - my handle has already been replaced under warranty and I have ended up selling on ebay and replacing with a regular bagged Miele C3 - which is 1000% better than the Blizzard.
I would not recommend the Blizzard.

Good vacuum
Good suction. Bagless. Easy to empty and clean. Spare tools held at the back of the vacuum cleaner. Brush component is on the handle which is ok but can't be removed if you need to use the brush on the wand for higher area cleaning. The turbo carpet head would be a nice addition as it only comes with the normal floor/carpet head.

This thing sucks!
We have been using Target and Kmart vacuum cleaners for a long time and were always complaining how bad they are. We came across some positive reviews about Miele and decided to see if it works. And does it work!?
It is powerful enough to suck and hold a small chair! I was amazed at how powerful this machine is. It works smoothly.
The cleaning is super simple. The ease to maintain this vacuum cleaner is great. It also has a self-cleaning mechanism.

Not as good as my old bagged one
I loved my bagged Miele cat and dog vacuum but after 11 years it was time for a new one. The suction in the bagless one is ok but not as good as my old one. It is fairly quiet and easy to maneuver. The dust bin is large and easy to empty. The filters only need cleaning every six months and although they are easy to access I found this job to be time consuming and grubby. The small brush is attached to the telescopic wand and cannot be removed. This makes it impossible to use on high places. I bought this vacuum as I didn't want to keep having to buy bags but now wish I had stuck with a bagged one.

A great vacuum
Thank you to Product Review and to the people that have left comments on this vacuum cleaner you are the reason I have just purchased it from Harvey Norman. The only complaint I have is the brush which is on the handle this makes it to short to reach higher areas

Best vacuum ever!
Have a previous model of Meile which performed quite well but I really wanted bagless. Even though it's a bit more expensive than the bagged version I do belive it's worth it.
I ended up getting a good deal on this so purchased the power head to effectively give me the dog/cat version, plus I have the attachments from the old Meile that fit.
It's nice and quiet and easy to maneuver but I am not sure how it would go on stairs as it might be a little big but if I had stairs I would still get it anyway because it performs so well.

It could have been a great vacuum...but...
I am a first time Miele user. This is a good vacuum, however, Miele in their shortsightedness decided NOT to provide an unattached brush so the user could then attach it to whatever part of the hose the user saw fit (for cobwebs, cleaning your car, skirting boards etc) instead they have a built in brush located near the top of hose...very poor design flaw. To makes things worse you cannot even buy one...they don't make one...I looked into it...not happy at all as this is an attachment that is widely used.
And

ir cost cutting exercise (or improved design!) they decided to make the width, yes the width of the cord thinner...the flow on effect from this is the vacuum rarely manages to easily pass over the cord so you are forever going back to lift the machine over the cord. Furthermore skinny cords means they get caught on things a lot (fridges) - so to save cents the company has not used sense. So the vacuum is good, but the companies greed to not include a unattached brush and not even manufacturing one is abysmal, you need to purchase another cheap plastic head attachment for hard floors and a skinny cord...this is supposed to be progress, once upon a time all these things came with $20 vacuum cleaners now you must pay, pay or we just don't have them...disgraceful...Similar opinion? Great Bagless
Having read the reviews I was hesitant to buy the Miele.Saw it on special and took the plunge. All I can say is WOW. It is not hard to push, and I mainly have carpet in my house.
It has sucked up so much dust my old vacuum left behind and found the setting no problem. Dust canister is easy to empty. All in all am very satisfied.

The Best bagless Vacuum right now
This vacuum is so easy to use very powerful suction, super quite even on the highest setting and the wheels just glide smoothly on the floor. Wish I bought the higher model with the remote on the handle. I cant believe we overlooked this for Dyson at first. But after returning to Harvey Norman TWICE to replace the straight out of box broken dyson vacuums ( wheels fallen off) we decided to go with Miele. I am very happy with this purchase! You will never regret it!

Has anyone else had luck in sourcing a longer hose for this model? Miele have not been helpful at all when I rang and the shortness of the house really annoys me.

Hi there, thanks for your question. A part of the Miele accessories range is a hose extension which adds an extra 1.5m of cleaning reach (not compatible with PowerBrush vacuum cleaner models). The model number is SFS 10, and retails at $54.90. This can be purchased online, or in your nearest Miele Experience Centre. Kind regards, Miele.
Thank you for responding, I have purchased this hose extension and had to return it as it is not compatible with the Blizzard models. There must be another hose which is compatible?
Any update on this Miele?? Still waiting
