Excellent suction and Instant hair dryer
Excellent suction ease of handing, purchased a larger foot attachment which suits big spaces, quiet, the retractable cord could have been longer and the exhaust should have been placed on one side. When switching power on exhaust blows directly in face which is not good.
Purchased in June 2021.

LOVE IT!
LOVE this vacuum!
I love that it has so many filters so i can remove all the allergens that walk into and blow into our house. I have noticed a difference in myself (hayfever) and my extremely allergic to everything dog.
My dogs don't shed but i think i make up for that fact with my seemingly forever molting long hair. This vaccume handles all kinds of hair with ease. Even the finest of the fine.
Its super light and rolls on a dime! No, its never ever tipped over.
The corn is very very long meaning i only need to change where it's pl...Read more
ugged in once to do my entire house! The attachments are hidden away on the vacumes body so i always have them when i need them and they'll never get lost. And they actually work! They make it so much easier to do fabrics etc.1 comment

Great but not perfect
Awesome vacuum, it's lasted me years without any issues, it's a heavy duty vacuum cleaner that suits my needs picks up every bit of dirt and dust off the floor, very powerful, only downsides are : it's bulky and if your not careful it tips over and like every other vacuum it gets loose from the hose after years of use . despite all that it's a vacuum that does more than you need it to not a quite machine if that's what your going for .

Best Vacuum!
Unfortunately the allergy version is no longer available. First purchased because I have always had bad allergies since I was a kid. This vacuum has nonetheless been incredible! It's exceeded my expectation, despite my initial suspicion about it's price. Competes with Dyson brand. Easy to use, store, and I love the settings! Clean up is easy with the bag. Would highly recommend to anyone that's tossing up between a Dyson or Miele!

wish my GF sucked this well :D
My previous vacuum cleaner was a Miele and lasted 18 years, no joke. This one appears similarly well constructed and in the first 5 weeks has proved a winning choice. As we have asthmatics in our household the allergy model was selected and gets a thumbs up so far. Would recommend

Great vacuum!!
I love this vacuum! It has so many settings that are suitable for all sorts of things around the house. I use it on tiles and carpets mostly and occasionally the couches and it does a great job. The suction is so strong on every surface so everything cleans up nicely.

Almost too much power! - not disappointed at all!
You can see the carpet been sucked up and not event at its highest power. Got it and light blue colour and loved it, so easy to move around, can stand up on stairs and not as noisy as other brands. Very easy to put together everything fits seamlessly like in most German products they excel at this. Love it!

I LOVE THIS VACUMM CLEANER !
This is an outstanding vacuum cleaner, the suction is incredibly strong at its highest setting, its almost too strong. It is so easy to use, glides easily, cord draws smoothly with no problems, it has a number of attachments that are stored within a compartment in the top of the machine. Indicates when bag is full, bag is easy to replace. One bag goes a long way. I also bought the turbo head, wow Its brilliant, I can't recommend this vacuum cleaner highly enough.

Great for allergy cleaning hard to handle
We bought this because of having asthma and it's fantastic cleaning and removes most dust but it's very hard to move about and holding both parts together is very difficult. Also the handle could be a lot longer including the tube aswell. While on the other hand it has a good length power cord

Amazing suction power
After 12 years with Dyson I jumped ship and after loads of research I decided on a Miele allergy for my family. WOW I’m so happy, the suction can be adjusted to depending on what surface you are vacuuming and on the strongest was so powerful it started lifting the carpet up. So to say the least I probably won’t ever really have to use that much. My husband is even loving it with the ability to make the handle longer and the attachments are easier to use. We got a deal with the good guys and received a box of bags and filters which should last me over a year.

Excellent product and very affordable too
I was on the market for a new vacuum and was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing machine for under 500 dollars. I got mine from Bing Lee online and it was delivered within 3 days! It has lots of attachment that can reach every corner and also can vacuum curtains and lounges. It comes with bags that are HEPA filter and are very hygienic. The vacuum does not smell after use and the air is cleaner in general.

Decent Real Quality Vacuum
We are required to be very careful with dust mites due to allergies in the family so this was a natural choice for us. I probably wouldn't have bough a Miele if it wasn't for that but I am glad i did! The quality is areal step up from the usual plasticky rubbish and the quietness and quality of the tools is second to none. They say you get what you pay for and this is worth it!

Love the long power cord and HEPA filter
Purchased Miele Allergy and could not be happier. It cleans so well! When I first powered it on I was surprised that it does do not make that much noise as my old vacuum, cleaned everything with a few strokes in a flash and very easy to maneuver thanks for the extra long power cord that It comes with. It is very hygienic and is equipped with the HEPA filter making it the perfect vac for my needs!

VERY happy with this Miele.
Excellent suction with plenty of different settings plus the finger flick opening adjustment. Light, manoeuverable, fairly quiet, although it does get noisier if set on the higher power settings, which I rarely use. Noise level even at higher setting is acceptable. Used for tiles, carpet, and fabric furniture, cushions etc. Covering area of up to 200 sq.m easily. I bought this Miele primarily for the filter options, as I required a very fine particle filter proven by independent laboratory tests to work. Miele is outstanding in comparison...Read more
to other brands. There are markings on the filters that show progress (on a line) to expiry. The additional little tools store neatly on/in the barrel. I did have to purchased a cheap aftermarket 30cm extension wand(eBay) to clean beside furniture which is against walls. Genuine GN Hyclean 3D Efficiency Dustbags cost additional $25.Similar opinion? A great replacement for a short lived Electrolux
Nice and light with only one filter to change. Compared to Electrolux and Dyson much easier to look after and better made. Don't regret going back to bags as it is much easier and doesn't get covered in dust. Dyson's are too fragile and our Electrolux was great until it burnt out at 4 years old.

Impossible to use at full suction on carpet with standard floor head
My mother purchased this C3 Allergy model as it was lighter in weight than the Dyson than she was originally looking at. It comes with the standard hard floor/carpet head. While my mother is elderly (87), she is not particularly frail, and she found it impossible to push the standard floor head on her carpetted floor (flat and old) and a cut pile rug. This was only on the second and third lowest suction settings. I took it home and both my husband and I tried it on my carpet (new) and found exactly the same thing - impossible to manouvre except...Read more
on the lowest suction setting. On a hard tile floor it was fine on full suction. We lent my mother an old Miele rotating brush head (slightly damaged) we had from an old retired model and she found it a bit easier to use - still only on the third lowest suction setting. After a week she complained that it was still too hard to push and felt the suction was not right. We tried troubleshooting, changed bags, checked fliters with no improvement. We noted that the "bag full" indicator kept reading red, which according to the manual means the bag is full (it wasn't). In the end I arranged to meet the Miele rep. at the Good Guys store which we purchased it from to try to troubleshoot our concerns. The rep tested the machine on very low pile carpet samples in the store, with the original head, a new rotating brush head and our old head, compared it to another new model and reported that it was operating fine. My mother tried the machine on the second and third lowest suction settings with a brand new rotating brush head and felt that it was manouvering better than the old brush head we gave her and felt the machine was manageable on the these settings. The rep. reported that even on the low settings the vacuum would be sucking efficiently and to take no notice of the different settings guide for carpets, rugs, furniture etc but just go with whatever was easiest to push. The rep reported that the Miele manual was incorrect in saying the "bag full" indicator when all red meant it was full. It should show all black when "bag full". The rep indicated the solution to the manouverability problem was to buy a new rotating brush head (which automatically comes with the cat and dog model) and run it on the second lowest setting. The retail price of these heads is $179! My mother had already paid $399 for a machine she could not use. The Good Guys of course would not take back the vacuum after 1 month since being sold. My concern with the instore demo was that it was not on the carpets my mother had at home and asked if we could borrow a new brush head to try at home before going to the expense of purchasing one. Unfortunately this was not something either the rep. for Miele or the store could authorise. "Maybe try Miele head office"!. To make matters worse that day the vacuum was now on sale for $299, $100 less than what we had paid not quite 1 month ago. The staff member assisting us indicated that the Good Guys had a policy around "find it cheaper within 30 days and get the difference refunded" which we would probably be eligible for. On getting the manager involved, the manager agreed to refund $100 as per their policy, put this money towards purchasing a new brush head which he offered us at a very good discount price, leaving us only $19 additionally out of pocket all up. On returning home my mother briefly tried the new head on her carpets on the second and third lowest settings and felt that it was at least usable. The test will be in her capacity as an elderly lady doing her small but fully carpetted house in one go. The outcome of this saga is: 1. yes the vacuum has very strong suctionSimilar opinion? A quality vacuum!
Bought this on sale and have been loving it for about 6 months now! Never had any problems with it and it continues to be a winner in terms of suction power.
+pluses: very strong suction, relatively quiet for the size of the motor (2000W), not too heavy, built in attachments, HEPA filter, german manufactured, large bag size (vs the 'compact' c2 mieles).
-minuses: bags are quite expensive at about $5 a piece but they do last me about a month, didn't come with a power brush head and to buy it separately is pretty expensive (~175$).

Excellent vacuum - much better than I expected
Small, lightweight but great suction. Havent used beyond level 2 though. Can't ask for much more. I am very happy with this vacuum and would buy another one. It works fine on carpet and floorboards, and have also used on couch and other upholstery. It isn't that noisy. Great value, especially compared to other hyped up brands.

We have a Miele 5048564182 vacuum cleaner. Just moved and didn’t realise there was no bag in it when we vacuumed as soon as we realised turned it off. There was a smell and it was warm. After a few weeks Put the bag in and now won’t start. For a split second the icon with a lounge lights up and then nothing. Help! It’s actually model SGFA0 type HS15. Complete C3 allergy powerline

Sorry Joy I am not a techinician. You may have to talk to Miele for advise. Hope its an easy fix.

Hi Joy, thanks for your question. At a minimum, it sounds like your vacuum will require a new fan. You will need to book the vacuum in for a service. You can book one here https://www.miele.com.au/domestic/service-enquiries-3077.htm or by calling 1300 464 353 (Australia). Kind regards, Miele.

Hi, I see Miele have answered your question.
Mine also takes the Hyclean 3D GN bags. It’s the box that has the dark blue label & dark blue attachment on the bags.
