Great powerful vacuum cleaner
We are more than happy with the Miele vacuum cleaner, we use on tiles and carpet. Very strong suction, very quiet in operation. Easy change of dust bags. Second vacuum we have purchased from Miele and the cleaner lasts for many years Great company to deal with.
Purchased in July 2021 at Myer Retail Stores for $499.00.

Best vacuum cleaner I've ever had
Purchased this vacuum cleaner over 12 months ago and it's still going strong. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a vacuum cleaner but wanted something that works well and wouldn't blow up after a couple of months. So I did some research and realised I'd have to spend a little more to get something decent but didn't necessarily have to fork out upwards of $500. Saw some good reviews about Miele vacuums and saw this one for sale on eBay at $289. Best $289 I've ever spent! After 14 months, the suction is still as good as it was when I first used ...Read more
it and everything is still in perfect working order. It has a metal pipe thingo instead of plastic so it's very sturdy. The cord is quite long and it's a little noisy (not as bad as others I've owned though). It's a vacuum cleaner though so I'm not expecting it to be whisper quiet. All in all, I'm very pleased I purchased this one. Would highly recommend any Miele vacuum cleaner, if this one is anything to go by.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Awesome Suction
The suction is so powerful, it was stronger and quieter than my old DC14 Dyson. Being a bagged vacuum it more hygienic to dispose as there is no puff dust flying up at you. Bags take ages to fill up. only negative is it cost 25$ per 4 bags.

Great Vacuum
Great vacuum cleaner. Super portable and light. Love the bright red colour. Works really well on both our carpets and our hardwood floors. Really well priced at about $230 on sale and can buyer cheaper replacement bags online. Highly recommend this product for a good all round vacuum cleaner .

Best vacuum cleaner we've owned!
Best vacuum cleaner we've ever owned. The suction is great. Comes with all the useful attachments you might need. Has a height adjustable handle which my husband loves since he's very tall and finds it hard to find a vacuum that can be adjusted to the right height so he doesn't have to hunch over using it.

Amazing little Vac!!!
Bought this vac on special at Harvey Norman for $199 to replace my worthless Dyson Animal that was $800 and on an extended warranty. It absolutely blows away the performance of my Dyson! Not only is it powerful but very quiet. Even at 60% power it out vacuums a Dyson. Grab one of these little suction monsters and save yourself $600!! You will not be disappointed.

Excellent product
My previous Meile vacuum gave up after 20 years so I went to Harvey Norman to seek a replacement.
I was offered a Meile for over $400. When I said I would check a competitors pricing before buying I was shown an identical Meile made in China, not Germany, and priced at $199. I purchased the Chinese made one knowing that Meile quality control would be in place at the Chinese factory.
What a superb cleaner every bit as good as my previous machine and wonderful value for money certainly as good as any Meile product I have bought.

Quiet, Clean air, No HEPA filter for $278..
Purchased on special at HV for $278. Runs quiet (I only use the power on about half). Good suction, solid construction, looks well put together. It is made in China but appears of good quality and design. Must be why Chinese are buying up so much RealEstate in the West, all our money is flowing to China and it comes back here and buys houses. What is really good about this vacuum is in addition to the bag it has 2 air filters that filter the air as it goes back into the room. Also when you buy a pack of 4 bags they come with a set of replaceme...Read more
nt filters so every 4th bag you change the filters which I think is a fantastic idea. The cleanest air coming out of a vacuum I have experienced. Have yet to buy a set of bags yet so will update in due course but so far very good. (Edit - it's been a few months now and I have discovered it does not have a HEPA filter for $278! It only has these little patches that you place in this plastic cartridge which on the surface looks like a ridgy didge filter. Not overly impressed anymore, Volta is still the best value for money - half the cost and they have a little cartridge filter. Still not too bad but if you want a HEPA filter on a Miele you'll have to pay $$.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Questions & Answers
Greg Masked
This concerns model SDAEO which is not on the pulldown list. While vacuuming wood floors with the floor tool set to “Hard flooring and intensive cleaning of carpets” and the machine set at “Energy saving, daily vacuuming with low noise level” the floor tool makes a shrieking/squealing sound as it’s drawn back, even with the air inlet valve fully open. The tool makes no sound when pushed forward, even with the air outlet fully closed. This sharp sound can be heard in the apartments around and below me despite it being a cement building and my putting 1/2” of cork underlay beneath the hardwood flooring. As solutions go, lifting the floor tool to draw it towards myself is hard on the back after a few minutes. If I need to buy a different floor tool than the one supplied which do you recommend?
