Quality all round
Excellent oven, simple to use and very well built. Cooks all food very well and easy to keep clean. Clock on outside is a nice feature and the oven is large enough to suit a larger family, perfect for the Sunday roast. Outside and interior is easy to keep clean.

Great cooking with a quality oven
In our family of four we cook most days of the week at home; so needed a reliable, versatile and well made oven.
After considering various fan forced pyrolytic ovens we settled on this Miele and have been very happy with the choice.
The design is classic and understated - you don't really notice it in the kitchen unless you look at it. It is well styled with a black and silver facade and useful controls across the top. The two dials are easy to use and push back in when not in use.

ooking modes suitable for any home cooking task. The internal space is wide for the ovens dimensions and when cooking you can make use of all the shelves - each seems to cook well. It manages to cook pizza well on maximum heat through to a slow roast lamb for 5 hours. We have used this oven for entertaining groups of people too and found it effective in cooking for larger groups as well. The pyrolytic function works very effectively for the walls but does take some time and you have to manually clean the door and racks. The outside is also easy to clean and stays fairly clean having a simple design.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Could not believe how cool the oven door was while baking
What a great Oven, easy to use, cooks perfectly. I purchased the Oven from Winnings, easy people to deal with. They know the products.
We have small children that touch everything, well you have no worries with this Oven, a great relief. We are using the oven under bench so it is safe for children. I am certainly going to buy more Miele products.

Incredible oven
I was looking for a quality oven and I was quite impressed with this beauty. No only does it cook food great but it's sleek and looks incredibly modern. It has quite a few great features and is also very efficient in terms of electricity. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great oven.

Very good oven
We had Miele appliances in our last kitchen so when we moved to a new house and renovated the kitchen we wanted Miele again. This oven is so easy to use and everything comes out evenly cooked which was a bit thing for me as some of our past ovens cooked so unevenly. Its got the pyrolytic cleaning function which was also a must. As always Miele is the best choice for kitchen appliances for me.

Happy wife Happy Life!
The kitchen appliances really were my wifes choices and the one thing she insisted on was a pyrolytic oven. I wasn't fussed either way but it really is an amazing thing to see - you might not think the oven is overly dirty but after a pyrolytic setting has been run the oven looks like new again!
The oven heats up fast using the speedy setting and cooks great.
For the price of this model - the timer/clock function could be a bit more simplified but it really is a minor quibble.

Good overall
Its a good oven with good overall features. It heats up fairly quickly and cooks the food evenly. Haven't used the pyrolytic feature yet but it is good to have. All the features are easy to understand and the fan is quite. Runners are very helpful too with heavy dishes.

Great oven!
Purchased oven recently and cannot rave enough about it. It cooks evenly and beautifully and it also has the pyrolytic function which I'm looking forward to using when it gets dirty. I purchased the Obsidian Black which is more appealing aesthetically. I've also got the telescopic runners which are a great support to those heavy dishes. I highly recommend this oven to anyone that wants simplicity and precision.

Except timer
The oven is great but figuring out how to use the timer was a royal pain. Once figured, it is now fine, however, if i want to set a 2 hour timer, i have to turn on the oven light as well, come on! Could they not have put in a simple alarm???
Otherwise, the oven works very well.

I want to clean between the layers of glass also because I have a spill in between layers which I think is a design fault. I live in a regional town so can’t really call anyone to assist, I am wondering how difficult it is to dismantle and then reassemble the layers of glass in the door. It would not be good if I can’t get it back together properly as is my previous experience with cleaning oven doors, they are never the same again. Help!

I have a miele H2260B and it seems to take about 2 hours 'cooling' after use! is this normal? or does it need more ventilation? or?

Hi George, the cooling fan will run if the oven capacity is above 70 degrees. This is to protect the electronics from over heating. So it is possible the cooling fan will run until it is told by the electronics that it has reached a safe temperature to stop. Kind regards, Jack.
Thanks Jack, i am just surprised from 260 degrees it take 2 hours to cool down to 70 degrees. Could it maybe need more ventilation?

We have Meile Oven - H2261B. Please can you advise how to clean within glass layers of door. Does the door need to come off the oven first? Can you please advise how to access between the glass panes of the door.

I think that you will have to call Miele. There should not be dirt between the glass panes.
Hi Sally...I had the same issue and was hesitant about taking the door apart. I went to the Perth Miele showroom and one of the staff took apart an oven door to show me how to do it. It was quite easy. However, this was a few months ago, so I doubt whether the showroom is open during this Covid 19 time.
