We just moved into a house with a Miele KM3054 cooktop, everything works beautifully on it except it wont stop beeping until it is perfectly clean, but today even after cleaning it the beeping continued and then it locked itself, and I cant unlock it by pressing the plus and minus buttons for a few seconds like I used to do before. Any suggestions?

The Miele cooktop is the absolute worst cooktop I have ever used.

Firstly, if the pot bubbles over, the instant ignite will start clicking and then turns off. I suppose it’s meant to be a safety issue but once it’s dirty, it’s dirty! Just let me finish cooking the meal and then I’ll clean it.

Secondly, the black ceramic part needs to be cleaned constantly. I mean every single time I use it.
Which brings up the third issue of the cooktop beeping. I was cleaning the top and now it won’t stop beeping.

We are building a new house and there is no way I would even consider putting in any Miele product.

Keeps beeping and won't let me ignite. User manual is useless and when i called Miele, i get like they were inconsiderate to my problem. They said i have to book in an electrician after many days. What am I supposed to do in the meantime. Very annoyed!

I don’t recommend this product at all. The beeping sound has all my visitors wondering. Its so annoying that i feel like ripping it off and throwing it. 3 service men came to repair it and there was no change. The cook top was replaced and still the same issue. And the burner just turns off all of a sudden. Was money wasted.

Same issue with most of the people on the beeping sound they make. Super annoying and the manual did not tell you what's going on or how to turn off! Have to turn off the power to reset it everytime. Spend your hard earn money else where.

Every time someone cleans the cooktop and wont stop beeping. It eventually stops. It we dont know how we did it. It is driving us insane. It is a KM3054 - how do we stop beeping. I have read the manual and there is nothing in there

The worst cook top I have ever had to clean in my life, I use a microfiber cloth with just a touch of warm water and the so called safety alarm goes off, spoke to Miele they advised to use their ceramic cleaning product with a dry cloth, the miele cleaner is like putting polish or wax on a car it needs to be massaged in for ages in order to remove all streak marks. The only way to turn off the alarm is for me to pull out my cutlery drawer and switch the cook top off at the power point my drawer is 1100 mm wide and requires 2 people to put back in so you can only imagine how frustrating this would be. I HATE my cook top so much its awful and was so expensive.

After months and months of service calls trying many different possible options to rectify my continually beeping cooktop Miele finally decided to replace my KM3054 gas cooktop, well today the service agent came and installed a brand new KM3054 and guess what the new one has exactly the same fault... still continually beeps every time you clean the glass surface and to top it off today my Miele CM6310 coffee machine dies - 3 months out of warranty!

Really poor design, stove locks when you wipe it or anything set on it - we couldn't unlock it by following the directions and had to turn off the stove to reset it. No clear troubleshooting instructions from Miele. Would never buy any more appliances from Miele.

Plumber installed gas cooktop last week and noticed rust marks along the whole edge on one side. Brand new product purchases for 3499. Really disappointing as I purchased several Miele products for kitchen. Pay a premium for product and you expect it to be of premium standard. Miele you have really let down a regular customer.
