I don't use many programs as our washing is cottons or cottons mix. The first default program works perfectly well for all types of washings - bed linen, towels, t-shirts, shirts, whatever people wear on a daily basis. I don't really need other programs as this one does everything very well. When a quilt cover or a sheet feels a bit not fully dry I just put it back, turn for 20 mins and everything is perfect. My laundry, which is slightly bigger than the "european" capboard laundry doesn't get wet and hot. Noise level is good, we have small house but the dryer doesn't bother me at all. I am very happy with the purchase.

I purchased the washing machine and dryer for my laundry nook. I love my washing machine but the dryer gives me heart attack every single time I am using it. I can only use EXTRA DRY feature as other ones leave clothes wet. Was so exited to have a nice dryer for winter and use for my shirts and delicate clothes. Very disappointing.

Bought this dryer about a month or so ago and am incredibly disappointed with the quality. As others have said it takes hours and hours to dry anything, I haven’t had any luck with sheets or towels and have experienced the balling issue. We bought it for winter knowing it would be too cold outside to line dry and can’t believe how poor the quality is when it was talked up so much when purchasing. Especially for such a well known brand. Definitely not worth the money

I bought this dryer a month ago, and it doesn’t dry anything properly, even after putting it back on multiple times. I can’t even get socks dry. I wish I had kept my cheap vented dryer. Energy wise, it hasn’t saved me.

We bought a Miele washing machine and stacking dryer. The dryer, for the price and perceived market quality, is abysmal. As all others are stating, same problems with hours to dry clothes, cool drying despite hot setting, sheets a complete failure to dry with the ‘balling’ an issue. I hate my dryer. I wish we’d never heard of Miele.

We purchased a Miele washing machine and a Miele SteamFinish and Eco T1 dryer about 3 years ago. Fortunately we kept our 10 year old $290 Hoover dryer. The Miele dryer (which cost over $1000) is very frustrating. When turned on it invariably cuts out, won’t restart without stopping within 2 minutes again, beeps until it is turned off and the clothes transferred to the trusty Hoover. Frustrating - we are extremely disappointed with this product.
Household cloths - rarely bedding/ sheets which we prefer to sun dry.
When it works it is OK until it stops and beeps incessantly. We would never put on a load to dry in the Miele SteamFinish and Eco T1 reviews and go to bed.
The Miele washing machine is excellent

The dryer bundles contents so they never dry. It never occurred to me to check the quality of an Miele appliance as all our others are excellent. I am surprised Miele engineers didn’t design alternating rotations.

We have had the T1 dryer now for about 2 years replacing the old Miele dryer that gave up the ghost after some 20 years. It is the worst piece of household equipment we have ever bought. All of our kitchen and laundry equipment is Miele and we have always been delighted with the performance of all of it except this dryer. It is slow, inconvenient and not at all worth the money. If all "environmentally sound" equipment was as bad as this............. Why am I writing this after 2 years? Well, the trusty Miele washing machine, some 20 years old is getting tired and requires to be replaced but my confidence in the Miele product range is not as it was. Sadly, Miele is no longer our "go too" brand.

We mostly want to dry sheets but the dryer just tangles them and they never dry. Whenever we use the drier it lasts only 10-15 minutes before beeping an annoying error message that the contents are tangled. Weve had it for four months now and have rarely been able to dry anything successfully in it.

There is no reverse tumble on this model which means that a duvet for example turns into a tight ball after drying - useless. Spoke to Meile customer services and technical department who offered no solution and seemed totally unconcerned. Persevered for past 2 years but will now ditch it and get another make.

After many years of dreaming of buying a Miele heat pump dryer I purchased one I'm so thrilled with this dryer I've heard and read lots of negative comments the biggest problem people must remember is these dryers don't burn your cloths with too hot of heat setting your cloths are gently dryed keeping your cloths towels sheets in way better condition not stressing the fabric so they will last longer it's all about trail and error while learning how to best dry loads if you like fast drying hot damaged washing loads you won't like these machines if you care about your laundry this is by far the best investment you can make

I bought this dryer to replace a Samsung heat pump dryer that broke down after a few months. I have had no problem with it drying clothes compared to the Samsung that didn’t heat up from day 1. I love the fact that the Miele has an 8 star energy rating and I love the perfume pods. I just wish I had bought this dryer in the beginning instead of the Samsung as Samsung put us through hell. Only negative was Harvey Norman delivered a dryer with a crack in the door and we had to wait another week for another dryer. I feel this was not Mieles fault.

After drying light loads for long periods (over an hour+) items are still damp. I’ve tried the extra dry cycle many times & this still occurs.
I’m aware there’s a cooling program at the end however when you open door mid cycle the items are not hot. When running the cycle for the full automated time the clothes are still damp.
This is my second machine under warranty as I thought the first one was broken.
Very frustrating.

Clothes drying for over an hour and still quite wet. Only dries on one setting and only collects half a tray of water after two hours the clothes are only just warm.

Claims "Perfect Dry" but always leaves my clothes slightly damp. The problem is compounded the more stuff you put in there. It is at least very gentle on clothes and easy to operate.

I am very pleased with my Miele Dryer.
It has 8 stars, which I find incredible ! Must save me lots of money.
And with the heat pump, no more having to have the back door open to let the steam out.
It does not over dry my sheets, so they are perfect for ironing.
I think all Miele products are wonderful, so I am gradually replacing all my white goods with Miele.
