What a pleasant surprise
After doing battle with foreign staff whom I could not understand and seemed not to listen or undertake any remedial action it was a breath of fresh air to ring up Mint Telecom to open a new connection after over 11 years with my previous provider (see comment iiNet)
My connection was fixed immediately and I was supported all the way, what a team all out of the top drawer.
Undoubtedly the best ISP I have dealt with with blisteringly fast speeds.
Can only suggest that you get on board the Mint expeess.

I had previously had ongoing issues with my isp switching between isp's and still getting no results, No assistance nor anyone capable of getting a tech to come and work it out.
Switching to mint was my saving grace. Being minutes away from ripping the box off the wall and using it as a Frisby to my dog the mint team assured me they'd sort it. A few tests and a couple days the mint team had a tech out replacing my antenna, redirecting my service to an alternate tower and my speed tests from 2mbps to averaging 20 plus at peak.
This was going on 12 months ago(ish) and I'm still yet to have a single issue with their service. Kudos to mint! You've slowed my balding and grey hair production.
Always reliable, look nowhere else!
Mint Telecom has provided a reliable NBN service to our rural property when no other operator could. Their staff provide top notch, friendly customer service. We love using a provider located in our state.
Fantastic customer service and provider
We recently left Mint Telecom, but not because of a bad service. Michael and his team are absolutely terrific. They monitored our service for any issues and promptly raised them when they were identified. We had the unlimited 50/20 package which served us really well. We would highly recommend Mint Telecom, Michael and his team and will certainly be back if it doesn't work out at our new provider.
Best ISP Ever!
Prior to moving into my unit, I check on this website for the best telco provider and was impressed with Mint Telecom having the highest rating to everyone else. I went to their website and joined up with my move in date and the very next day even though they are located in Tassie and I'm in SEQLD, I received my modem the next day. It was complete plug and play and I've never had an issue with my internet. The team are so friendly and warm and they go above and beyond to give you the best advice and service. I was thinking since I had a 4K ...TV that I should upgrade to the highest NBN service and they saved me $20 a month extra by assessing my situation and said that it would be a waste of money as my service is premium now and upgrading would not make a difference. Do yourself a favour and sign up to the best. You won't regret it.
Best Customer Service!
Mint Telecom have the best customer service we have encountered from an ISP. We have never had an issue getting through on the phone & they are available out of hours via Facebook Messenger. They always respond promptly when we message them.
Our experience with our NBN Fixed Wireless over the last few months has been horrible, with lengthy dropouts & extended maintenance. All the issues we have had can be attributed to NBN.co and not to Mint Telecom. Mint Telecom have spent hours via Facebook Messenger working with me to try and troubleshoot our connection issues, much of this time out of normal business hours.
I can highly recommend Mint Telecom to anyone looking for an ISP with an Australian based support & customer service team.
Mint Telecom provides quality help and prompt service that is exemplary!
Their support service even exceeds the calibre of Internode + iiNet waaaaaay back before being bought out by TPG - even earlier for iiNet; before they bloated with advertising, dumped quality for quantity, and outsourced everything.
Have now had their service for my previous address (FTTN) and current, which had issues with a missing Terminating Panel, from which Kelvin from Mint has taken care of with consistent effective communication and resolution.
Their network provision has always been consistently of high quality, with this plan supporting multiple simultaneous video streams without dropout or loss of quality.
I cannot recommend even considering any other service
Best customer services and friendly staffs
I signed up with Mint 3 weeks ago. Their staffs are always helpful and patient with my queries. They have the best customer service that you won't get from any other places. Their live chat feature is life saver, simply sending photos and questions, all could be sorted in minute. Not like other ISP which you need to fill in a form via email and got an answer overnight. I highly recommend Mint!
Great small company with real people and excellent service
I deal with mint both at my job as an IT Technician and have my home NBN through them and so far I have not had any issues with them nor have any clients we have helped sign up with them.
Communication is fantastic and very responsive with friendly helpful staff, turn around time is second to none and the connections so far have been rock solid.

The switch to this locally owned and operated business was the best decision. Their customer service is outstanding - they are so helpful, do what they say and follow up. They’re also easy to do business with and nice people to boot! We’re here for life, highly recommend!
Moved houses and opted to stay with belong for ease. After 3 weeks of being given excuses (and getting scripted answers to every call made) and getting told it would be up tomorrow we lost faith. We spoke with Michael initially via Facebook as office was closed over Xmas. Called first day after and had nbn within 4 hours thanks to Kelvin. Not only was the service better but Kelvin talked us through the logistics of nbn in a large home. Result is a fantastic service with no buffering in a house with four teenagers.
If you expect service - don't bother
When your internet drops out, you are sent a link so you can diagnose your own problem. Then, you contact MINT and they will log a fault if there is one. Until then they will do NOTHING to help you. I joined because I wanted Australian service only to find there is NO service over holiday periods except over messenger through facebook. This company's plans are not cheap so if you want real service you are better off going somewhere else. They don't like being questioned or care if you are not happy either
Brilliant Customer Service
Best customer service I've encountered. Prompt, efficient and courteous. Our FTTN NBN connection has been a little unreliable, but MINT have gone over and above to try and help, even with this second-rate FTTN connection.
First class customer service
The customer service provided by the staff at Mint Telecom is second to none. The process of transitioning from ADSL to NBN was handled in a professional manner. I was guided through the process with patience (which I very much appreciated). Couldnt recommend highly enough.
Excellent customer service
Have had two separate connectivity issues recently, one with NBN and the other a problem with the modem. Mint worked on our behalf in getting NBN Co to repair our connection at the node promptly. Mint also resolved the modem issue by lending us a modem whilst another, new, one was ordered. It has now arrived and both issues successfully resolved. The customer service from Mint has been extraordinary in terms of timeliness and courtesy. Mint was recommended to us via word of mouth and we in turn would happily recommend Mint to anyone else.

I moved into a new house 3 weeks ago and from day one I was with Telstra and had obvious problems with over 700 dropouts in these few weeks! I was sick of calling Telstra and talking to a stupid computer before Id speak to a real person and then repeat what I just said to 10 different people!! They made me sit at home while no one showed up two days in a row! Well I can tell you now I made the jump to mint and my modem was sent to me literally the next day! Then yeh I had same problem because it was nbn problem that the Telstra guy stuffed up w...ith the wrong cable. Let me tell you, I called mint up and boom straight away Im talking to an Aussie! He seemed to of fixed the problem and I thought it was all good but over the weekend I had issues because at that stage didnt realise it was nbn cable issue. I get an email from mint first thing Monday morning saying, hey we see that you have had dropouts over the weekend and we want to get this problem sorted ASAP so we have organised nbn to come out tomorrow. I didnt even need to call anyone! I did nothing! No phone call, no worrying, no stressing, no anger! Nothing! And boooom my internet is perfect!!!! Man, after 3 weeks of Telstra and 100 phone calls they couldnt even help or do anything because I was talking to ten different people Mint fixes it within a bloody day mate!! Legends!!! Go with mint! Trust me! I love you mint team! No stress for me now woohooo

Great service at a great price. After an initial issue that turned out to be a faulty modem, I received the replacement modem within 24 hrs and it's been fantastic ever since.
Nothing will compare
After hesitating swapping to nbn network, I am so thankful to have come across Mint telecom. They have been amazing!!! From beginning to end the support has been extraordinary, particularly for technology challenged people.
Where the larger suppliers said no to our requests, MINT said yes. In particular retaining our fax .
We did have a hiccup initially, but the staff were fantastic and saw us through, communicating all the way till operating. Then even following up afterwards.
Customer service cannot be beaten, as the initial contact person walked the journey with us and what was even better they are based in Tassie. Nothing overseas.
It was worth every cent to support a local Aussie business!!!

Email addresses from an ISP are not transferable so if you git an email address from us you wouldn't be able to keep it if you left us.
It doesn't make sense to us so we don't supply nor recommend this path. You are far better to get an email account with Gmail or Hotmail as they are both free and better than any email account from an ISP.
if i were to sign up with mint on nbn Q1 can you get foxtel,fetch or netflix Q2 can you get a phone line Q3 can you use a telstra adsl 2+ as your nbn modem

1. Yes - you can get all these services directly from each provider.
2. Yes - plan details are on website (bundles section).
3. For some types of NBN you can use. But you can never use for voice as telstra lock the settings.
