This is perfect
This is my second Mitsubishi air con. was confused to buy 6.3kw.installer advised 5.0kw will cool but little under. So I choose bronte series. Cools whole house. Only one thing when I put on low speed I hear weird air sound. Its not vibration. Only notice if you hear very carefully otherwise very quiet.
All together it’s much cheaper then diakin.
Purchased in November 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for $1,317.60.

Great Product
This is working well after finally getting it installed. Was going to do it myself but even though I'm handy it needed an HVAC guy to cut and flair the lines and do the pressure check. I also hired someone else to put the electric box outside., which is typical I think.
The unit itself is great. Has a small temperature readout on the unit and the remote is easy to use. Yes it's very quiet. We have it in a small office and you can hear the fan when it's above the minimum speed but we're right next to it. Still it's not bad at all. the outside unit is especially quiet!

ABOUT AS GOOD AS THEY GET
Choice magazine rated this split system air conditioner very highly - 96%. In fact, the highest rating for a split system this size. Price was very competitive so we went with it, as our living area is about 50sq. metres.
Installation took about 6 hours, but was done professionally and to a very high standard. Total cost $2,300.00
We did not use it for a few days, but today the temp got to 34 degrees and the living area was getting a tad warm. Turned it on with the slowest speed and set the temp. at 18 degrees. You cannot even hear ...Read more

Hi There,
I'd suggest referring to our sizing chart to give you an idea of what would size would best suit your space - https://mhiaa.com.au/document/srkdxk-room-sizing-chart/. We'd also suggest speaking to a local installer as there are a few other factors to consider including how many windows you might have, their size and which direction they face. You can find your local installer by vising our 'Where to Buy' page and entering your postcode -https://mhiaa.com.au/where-to-buy

Hi Tony,
This varies depending on whether you have it on heating or cooling mode and on which setting however on the lowest setting on cooling, the 6.3kW Bronte indoor unit goes down to 25dB. You can download the brochure which includes all technical on our website - https://mhiaa.com.au/document/residential-air-conditioners-split-systems-brochure/
thanks I will go up to 7.7 kw unit

Hi, you mentioned the total cost was $2300, may I ask how much the installation cost was as that's the unknown factor? Cheers
