Disrespectful Sales Guy at Hoppers Crossing Mitsubish
I was at Mitsubishi Hoppers Crossing today to have a look at one of their used cars. When I told my offer price, one of the Managers became very rude and abusive. He even said 'Kicking me out'.I was so upset that I am considering legal action.
This terrible experience will stay with me forever and I would never visit any of the Mitsubishi dealers again.

Car Service
My Outlander is being service at Liverpool, I have been getting my cars serviced there for over ten year, last week my car was brought in and I was advise I need a new transmission- $5500 later then I get a call today by the way you need to get a new wheel barring $450 extra WOW. Is it because I am a woman and know nothing about car that they are trying to rip me off?

Test drive refused
Visited the Midland sales yard looking to purchase a vehicle that day and a young salesman told me that unless I was going to buy the vehicle, I couldn't take it for a test drive. I explained that the whole reason for taking it for a test drive is to determine whether that is the car I wish to purchase. He said that they don't want to put extra kms on the odometer on used cars (we're talking about driving around the block!). By this stage I was so offended that I took my business elsewhere and purchased a vehicle elsewhere 2 days later. I will never do business with them and am still shocked by their attitude and rudeness. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend this car yard to anyone thinking of going there.

Avoid Mitsubishi at all costs -no respect for warranty or consumer gursnrees
Scenario- 2014 triton with badly faded crazing and cracked headlights approaching end of 5 year Mitsubishi warranty -Reality - the big yellow blob in the sky is apparently an external environmental influence that is excluded from the warranty among a miriad of other excuses. Local dealer told MMAL they could not identify cause but an external influence had contributed to this situation so MMAL rejected and would not budge. Any external influence (other than failure of the product itself) was supported by an effort by a headlight restorer t...Read more
o recover from visible damage and afterwards it was obvious some improvement was made but crazing and cracks still remained. Must be a similar influence for the 1000s of other triton owners that have experienced the same faulty polycarbonate lens and struggled to know who to speak to....... I strongly recommend before buying a new Mitsubishi you check the fine print. Heres If there are any lawyers reading I suggest a lucrative class action could be based on ridiculous exclusions that any decent car Manufacturer would be ashamed of...... shame Mitsubishi shame ..... heresan example- in their new 7 year warranty -clutch plates are excluded from warranty if after 20000km or 1 year - thats confidence in their product ...;(($$&))$Similar opinion? Poor service from Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limitied
Took my 4 year old Pajero in to North East Mitsubishi to claim the drivers seat coming apart at the seams, to be told by the dealership that it was because I was a short person. Complained to MMAL to be told they are rejecting the claim because I have no brand loyalty. Having owned a Pajero, two Magna's, a Colt, Cordia and Sigma all bought from dealers I disputed their claims. They stated because I do not get the Pajero serviced at Mitsubishi there is no loyalty.

morphett vale Mitsubishi - Be warned
Today is another day I will spend sitting in your south Rd dealership while your staff leave my car running for the day, refill the radiator because the engine is burning off the coolant and then tell me the car has nothing wrong with it. Your staff have told me that coolant boiling out of the radiator is normal. According to this dealership Mitsubishi don't give loan cars and we are a single car house so I take the day off work and wait at the dealership each time. Not the car or service you would expect for the money. Sitting here has at least given me the time to read about all the other people that have had similar issues and experiences.

Avoid Phillip Mitsubishi
Phillip Mitsubishi service department should be avoided at all costs. Inept technicians, service advisors who don't know a conrod from a hubcap and a Service Manager who should find alternative employment. I was told (and have it in writing) that to wire up the indicators and fog lamps on an aftermarket bullbar that it would need to be carried out by that manufacturers specialist because they didn't know what a load resistor was or how to fit it! Given that the job had been booked in and two days allocated to doing it makes you wonder about...Read more
the technical expertise of the person booking the job (or complete lack thereof) Also was told the aftermarket struts I wanted fitted didn't fit ( actually had a phone call from the advisor and the "technician" telling me they didn't fit) only to be then charged $500 for what should have been at most a one hour job each side, once they were shown how to do it by someone who actually knew what they were talking about. In their defence however, they actually did know how to change the oil and filter on a 2022 Triton so it wasn't all bad. My advice is if you need anything other than a bread and butter service go elsewhere as they have no idea what they are doing with your very expensive vehicle and become very aggressive and defensive when there competency is challenged by someone who actually knows what they are talking about.Similar opinion? Absolutely disgraceful commitment to their warranty.
After complaining about disc brake shuddering at the 15k service, they refused to look at under warranty.
A different dealer and again complaining about severe shudder, again no go from the dealer or customer care. We have two Triton Dual cabs and both are suffering the same symptoms, as soon as the discs heat up they go warpy. Mitsubishi's answer to this is to blame the driving style of my staff, both of whom are mechanically trained and careful drivers. No pads are getting worn out, only warping rotors, which we have had to pay to machine.
As I sated in the heading, Absolutey disgraceful Mitsubishi Motors.

KINGS CARS BALLARAT
I had a horrible experience at kings cars.
Sat for a hour and a half. Even though I had an appointment. Just to have a scan tool put on my car. . A 10 min job. I was told I would only be charged. For the time it took but was charged for the full hour. To be told what I already knew about the car. From my mechanic. Stay clear from KINGS CARS BALLARAT.

2 motors in 1 year
I Bought my lemon in 2015 from kings cars Waurn ponds, motor seized 3 years later and after 2 months of horrible customer service the motor was replaced under warranty due to a factory fault ( pitted heads) 1 year later the motor seized again and this time they ( mitsibishi ) and kings cars are refusing to fix it . I was told 3 different versions of why it seized only to have a oil test prove it was fuel dilution in the motor ( factory fault ) . They are refusing to fix it and don’t return my calls . Mitsubishi are hopeless and kings cars have lied to my face and refuse to call me back . DO NOT BUY A MITSIBISHI and especially not from kings cars

Mitsubishi Australia - a complete waste of time.
I purchased a one year old Pajero from Zupps of Aspley. When it's next service was due I enquired of the dealer what the price of the capped price service would be only to be told the car was an ex Mitsubishi fleet car and did not qualify for capped price servicing.
I advised the dealer that Mitsubishi's literature clearly states that the capped price servicing is normally transferrable to the new owner. If it wasn't applicable to my car, then I should have been told this at the time of purchase which of course I wasn't. The dealer refused to ...Read more

Service department Errors
They just lie about the service cap pricing. They record the correct date and time of the previous service in the service log book but an incorrect one on their computer system, and insist on charging based on a clearly erroneous entry on their computer system, even in the face of a stamped, correct service logbook entry that I am following. How does this happen!? When you point out their errors, they just keep countering with one trumped up excuse after another as to why they are still going to screw you for their mistakes. Essendon Mitsubishi John ( Manager) New Car Sales Man . Discriminating and sexist towards female potential buyers. Very poor customer service, poor product.
Reported driver's seat moving from side to side and clicking when driving around any corner.
Obviously not only is this stressful to put up with,it is also dangerous since the safety of the driver and passengers, centres from the seat.
Amongst all the other creeks and cracking that brand new Pajero driver's already put up with,it just makes the vehicle feel very cheap and poorly put together.
I had to pay for a independent diagnosis of the seat to find out that Mitsubishi Australia puts no bushells between the height adjustment rods and the sea...Read more

My business owns a 2015 Triton. The Triton's are good value for money but can have a few minor issues. My Triton started blowing a little black diesel smoke at 45K and has become progressively worse to the point that large clouds of smoke are emitted under 2,000 revs. At 75K I took the Triton into Cricks Mitsubishi Nambour. They kept it for 3 days acknowledging it was smoky and they were doing various things to track down the issue. After 3 days of poor communication they return it saying there was nothing wrong with it and that all diesels blo...Read more
w smoke and was comparable to another similar Triton they compared it with. So now I have a ute that is virtually unsaleable. Do not bother taking your Mitsubishi to the dealer, take it to any half competent mechanic (the Mitsubishi guys either are incompetent or their business plan is not fix anything under warranty if they can possibly avoid it) and pay a lot less and avoid the patronising and condescending attitudes. I am taking my Triton to a Repco mechanic that will actually help.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
