5/2001 CE 4 door Sedan.
* Will a wagon drivers door fit my car?
* Is airbag steer wheel A simple bolt on & connect wire (mine has aftermarket wheel)
* Keys lost, can I simply buy a 2nd hand transponder key & igntion Switch set off another 2001 CE and install and it will work? Was quote $650 for duplicate key - huh!!??!! Thx

As far as the door is concerned my best advice is contact your local dealer. In regards to your key problem is concerned are you a RAC member if so you may be covered by them fora replacement key otherwise shop around locksmiths in your area. Salsa check if there is a specialist car keying locksmith in your area.

Hi if you you have a lot of questions in regards to your car google the make and year and then you should find all the answers to your questions
"Manufacturing Year". It applies to all cars. It's simply the year the car was manufactured eg. MY09 = Manufactured in 2009. Hope this helps :)

Hi sorry do not know much about the 2009 Lancer only to say that you should get it checked over by the RAC prior to purchase. As it is now ten years old and my have some issues. You do not want big bills for service and repairs. We have had Mitsubishi cars for over twenty years. And minimum cost to us for repairs. So good luck with your purchase. We now drive a 2017 lancer and love it

I own a 2017 CJ 2.0 ltr with the S4 Mivec CVT transmission and the factory warranty expires in December 2022. My enquiry is regarding a descending whine experienced on rolldown from the transmission whilst stopping as the trans changes from the highest to lowest ratios. The descending pitched whine is evident whatever the temperature of the engine/ transmision is, hot or cold.
Is this a normal noise with every CVT or something to get rectified. I need all the information available before taking it into the dealer, cheers.

Hi.
With my lancer is same model as yours and I do not have a whine from the gear box when the engine is changing down.
I would advise you to get your local dealer to give it a test drive. I should think if you just called into there service centre and explained your problem they would do a test drive while you wait. Best time to go to your dealer would be after lunch which is a quiet time for there reception.

Wow. That does not sound good at all. Hope you are OK. Would like to no the reason why your brakes failed. I myself have not had any problems at all with my car. Please let us know if they come up with a reason why they failed please. For I am sure there would be a lot of owners interested in the result

Yes, just gotta work out a way to make the wiring harness work. You have to swap the ecu over too keeping in mind too if the loom is for an auto or Manuel transmission..
