Perfect car
Great little car very easy to manage i like driving it beautiful colour and looks. It is very economical on fuel. Air conditioner could have been better. Bluetooth connectivity is also a plus point. Usb connectivity. Full tank that costs around 30$$ can easily do 370 -390 kms which is pretty good.

Cheated on Fuel Economy
We bought this car purely for its Fuel Economy but were misled.
The sticker on this car says Combined consumption is 4.9 L/100km, Urban 5.6 L/100km, and Extra Urban is 4.4 L/100km.
We have never got better than 7 L/100km - despite driving very carefully and mixing local and freeway trips (over a four month period).
The rest of the car is fantastic. Great turning circle. Small outside but roomy inside. Nifty to park. Very comfortable.

Surprisingly Delegate and Economical Hatchback Ever
Mitsubishi Mirage is the world's most fuel efficient car in the hatchbacks with out any electric motor battery, it gives more than 40 MPG drive range on highway and more than 27 MPG in the City which makes it a Economical hatchback car ever. Decent to drive explore more with the 2016 Mitsubishi Mirage.

It is a perfect City/Suburban runabout.
Purchased this car as the town runabout. Did a lot of research and there were plenty of professional motoring writers with negative or you can buy better cars reviews.
I think they must be driving a Merc then getting into the Mirage experience. My experience is it is a perfect town car, school pick up car and fit into any car space car. It is very good. Our top of the range LS model was only $13990 D/A and is well speed with standard inclusions like cruise control, privacy glass, bluetooth for mobile phone calls and music streaming and cli...Read more
mate control A/C and a 5 star ANCAP safety rating. Fuel consumption is very good, capped price servicing is well priced with 12 month intervals between services. It has Bridgestone Potenza tyres as standard (They are high quality tyres for wet weather and better handling). I did an online quote for comprehensive insurance with NRMA I was astounded the policy was only $43 for the year including a new replacement vehicle if it is written off in the first 2 years. There is a $100 discount for the online purchase in that price. My wife is the primary driver and she loves it. There is plenty of room for 4 adults of 2 adults front and 3 kids in the back. I am 190cm and there is plenty of leg room and head room for me in the front but the back is a little tight after 30 minutes in the car. If you are 180cm or less it is fine. Driving on the freeway the engine is only turning 2000 rpm at 100 kph so those lower revs keep the car a bit quieter. If you are mainly doing city/suburban runs this is an outstanding car to have especially at $13990 drive away for the top of the range model. It it was $16000 I would probably be looking at a Toyota Yaris or Hyundai model but the only contenders at the lower price are the Suzuki Celerio or Holden Spark (that I can think of) and neither is as well speced for the money so in my opinion the Mirage is the one to buy.

Nice - Looking
I took 1 for a test drive today, on paper this car is excellent value, it drove ok, up to 60kh a slight vibration on take off, this version is the LS CVT, the seats are very comfortable the climate control superb, and as I said up to 60kh it was almost smooth, it just felt a little unsteady at times. On the highway the body roll was scary, so this car is perfect for the city dweller, I wouldn't buy 1.
Seats very comfortable, climate control awesome, warrenty and service 5 yrs and the capped price is 250 every year for 4 years.
Body roll, engine noise, vibration at start and take off, and bootsize.

Hi, I just purchased a 2014 mirage and in trying to figure out why the aircon isn't blowing cold air, I've noticed the radiator fan isn't spinning - that I have seen. I haven't done any long trips in it yet, generally only 10 minute drives so far. My question is, how long should it take for the fan to kick in? I am scared to drive far in case the fan isn't working!
Thank you for any help!

Radiator fan should only kick in when it needs to i.e. it won't spin as soon as you turn on the car. It will eventually start spinning when you are stuck in traffic (you'll hear it click on) but shouldn't need to if you're driving in normal conditions as there is enough cooling via the normal airflow over the radiator.
