awesome car - couldn't ask for more for the price!
Performs really well, nimble on the road. Haven't noticed much noise. Interior does look cheap but functional
Legroom surprisingly amazing - we actually fit in 4 adults quite comfortably and we're all over 6'1"!! We were shocked.
Really cost efficient to run - slow to go through petrol
Not very powerful up the hills, but really does the job well enough nonetheless.

Very good for a short work commute.
Those criticising the Mirage's looks should compare it to the Nissan micra.
My Mirage had to have the manual gear box replaced at 24000 km. A vibrating sensation was noticeable through the pedals.
The dealer said Mitsubishi had changed manufactures and the replacement shouldn't give me any bother. Has anyone had this problem, or know whether the replacement gear box is of better quality than the original. To their credit Mitsubishi replaced it under warranty, but if it fails again within say 25,000 km, the cost could ruin me.

Our new favourite car.
This was the first Mitsubishi I've ever owned and I've found it to be such a joy to dive, it's really good on fuel, cheap to service and is so very comfortable. We bought this as a second car but now the family prefers this one! Really really happy customer.

Very good and reliable
We've had this car for nearly a year now without any problems. Performance is not bad for such a little engine and handling is good. The inside is roomier than it looks and looks well finished. I've sat in the back seat and had plenty of legroom. We have been driving Mitsubishi cars since 1972 and find them reliable and getting better all the time.

Awesome little car
I have had my Mirage for nearly a year now, and I haven't had any problems so far.
I read someones review saying there's a lack of cabin space, but I'm 187cm with long legs. I can sit in the drivers seat, then get in the seat behind and still have plenty of leg room. I folded the back seats down and after removing the parcel shelf, I was able to pick up a brand new 55 inch tv with my little Mirage.
It has creature comforts like auto lights, auto wipers, and you never need to take your keys out of your pocket.
It costs me about $35/fortnight ...Read more

Awesome little car :)
Purchased brand new LA LS hatchback a few months ago, very impressed so far
Pros:
Extremely cheap to run (only 1.2L 3cyl, approx 500km off 25L fuel)
Cheap to service with capped price servicing ($240 a year if i remember correctly)
Plenty of power considering its only a 3cyl car
All the flashy features bluetooth with voice control, climate control, cruise control, electronic power steering, power windows etc
5 star ANCAP rating so very VERY safe
Pretty big boot for a hatchback (way bigger than my old yaris)
