Love my Outlander
We bought our Outlander 3 years ago as a dealer demo with 400kms. We're up to 75,000kms and haven't had a single issue with it. We've always received good service from Mitsubishi and are really happy overall. We have 2 little kids and have to cart around a big pram with 2 seats. There's heaps of room inside, even at 6'2 I'm legitimately as comfortable in the front seats as I am the back. There's heaps of legroom and even after hours in the car (we do lots of long distance driving) I'm never cramped. I really rate this car highly. The only featu...Read more
re its missing is sat nav but we have google maps on the phone so not a big issue. Being a 2lt petrol with a CVT transmission, it's a bit sluggish and overtaking isn't instantaneous but it is great on fuel, cheap to service and very comfortable.Purchased in February 2021 at Mitsubishi Dealers for $27,000.00.

Excellent vehicle
Owned the 2017 zk outlander for almost 12 months and pretty much don't have a bad work to say about it. A easy pick when choosing a new car over Nissan and Subaru.
Purchased in August 2021.

Great all round car
Great all round car. I had the base model which felt just as luxurious as the higher models (I just added leather seats). My only complaint is that the Bluetooth microphone was awful- people couldn’t hear me well, and the size of the mirrors hitting the wind seem to make it a bit of a noisy ride.
Overall, it’s a great car for the price though!

Reliable jack of all trades and a great car for the money.
We've owned the car for just over 2 years now and it hasn't put a foot wrong. It's a very practical and well build car, one of the few SUV's that are still made in Japan. Our model had everything that we needed/wanted; 7 seats, bluetooth, 4wd, auto lights/wipers etc, all for a shade below 40k. You get a lot of car for the money, the other brands we looked at couldn't come near that. It's spacious and quiet inside and the seats are very comfortable, on short and long trips. I use around 10-12 litres per 100klm in mixed driving leaving it in 4wd ...Read more
auto all the time. The 7 seats have come in very handy, though the extra 2 seats are not for long journeys. The visibility is great and I don't know how I used to go without a rear vision camera. I had to recently put on the brakes hard, with the ABS kicking in, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quick the car came to a stop, so thumbs up for that too. 5 year warrantly and 3 years fixed price servicing gives us peace of mind. Only (minor) gripes I have with the car are that it could do with a bit more power and a bit less hard plastics inside. Other than that, a reliable jack of all trades and a great car for the money!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great value
Great car for a young family of four. We've had this car for three years and it hasn't missed a beat. It has a large boot space and roomy interior. It is a bit on the plastic side inside but the price point makes up for that. Fuel economy is great with over 800km highway driving and over 600km city driving. We have the front whell drive model. I would definitely recommend this model Outlander.

Amazing 4WD vehicle at reasonable price!
We have been happy with purchase of our Outlander overall. It has served and stood to its expectations. It is a good Station Wagon type car for everyday drive with comfortable seating for 7, Eco drive for super economy, 4WD to drive on rough terrains of Australia from snowy mountains to sandy beaches. Good towing of 1600kgs. Ample room for storage.

Decent car
I've got the 7 seater. The ones seating in the last row has to be petite and short otherwise they won't fit. Also, there's not much boot space once the last row of seats is being used but if not in use, boot space is awesome. One thing I hate is the radio. Shortly after we bought it, whilst driving along one day we went onto a little bump and something popped. We realise there was no sound to the radio. We had to switch if on and off every time so there is actual audio. It was fixed easily when we brought the car back for first 3 month service. However, it happened again 's couple months later and I can't be bothered to bring it down just to get it done. Apparently I've read that a few people have had similar problems as well.

Great car
Just got a hail-damaged, second-hand Outlander 2016 and it's a great ride. Extremely quiet and comfortable to drive, very spacious with room for up to 7 and pretty fuel economic, this is a very good car that suits tall people or a small family. The compatibility with Android Auto is a cool feature.

Great car!
Driving this car is absolutely great - the only downside is the lack of power. This doesn't deter me from my 5 star rating as the reduction in power is outweighed by the petrol consumption, comfort and overall ease of driving. On average around the city I use 6.7L per 100km. I don't feel there are any major blind spots within the car either, which for me is very important.

Value for money. 2 extra seats could be bigger.
I got the Mitsubishi Outlandler 2017 4WD 7 Seater Model. Value for money. But the 2 extra seats could be bigger.
The automatic drive may not be the best in my opinion, could feel a bit smoother.
Good on consumption. Typically gives me 10L/100Km. With enough AC use.
Sales team can get a bit aggressive at selling though, so beware.

just an average suv
Having bought my only new car in quite some time am impressed with most of the car however the central command has dropped out 4 times since purchase and restarted by itself? The car seems a tad way underpowered when taking off and is a bit off putting trying to overtake sometimes but the rest of the car acts like you would expect.

Had for 12 months, not as economical as I was lead to believe it would be. Upgraded from a mitsubishi ASX, some features were not there as were in the ASX, such as retracting mirrors on locking, fuel use and other guages weren't as accurate and detailed, but these are only minor issues apart from fuel consumption which is terrible in suburban driving even though mitsubishi claim it should be better than the ASX. On the plus side I find it more comfortable, handy compartments, drives well, limited road noise, handles well on braking. Hasn't had ...Read more
any 4wd experience to speak of yet and hesitant to test it out due to it being lower to the ground than traditional 4wds but it has travelled through areas with no issues where I may not have gone in a 2wd Everything seems to work well and I am glad I upgraded for the extra luggage space, legroom, seat and comfort overall. If I was to upgrade again I would hope mitsubishi give it a few tweaks to improve the looks, a few features on the dash and perhaps improve the seat position and lumbar selections for added comfort during long distance driving.Similar opinion? Price is good. A decent car.
I bought a 7 seats outlander, because I got my second baby. It was really good car. Fit all my family without any issue. I got 2017 version. It has 5 years warranty & 3 year road side assistant, which brings great benefit for myself, because I don't know how to fix cars.

Most Competitively Priced 7-Seater SUV
We purchased a 2017 ZK Outlander as it we were looking for a well-priced 7-seater SUV. Driving experience is very smooth, although it is slightly sluggish when carrying a full load. Very quiet ride, and excellent fuel economy. Spacious interior with useful features such as Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity and USB ports. We have not experienced any problems with the vehicle so far, and Mitsubishi's capped priced servicing has been good,

Roomy economical SUV
Bought manual entry model may 2017. Getting as low as 6.4 litres petrol consumption, even in town beats our 2008 lancer fuel consumption. Massive luggage area, adjustable rear seat is great, good for those with bad backs . I test drove Suzuki, Hyundai rivals, this car was best value for price, handling, storage and looks. I do not find its underpowered, have driven it with sizeable loads and the engine isn't stressed. Overall very good value for the price and as it uses lancer parts it has a good track record for reliability, our 6 year old lancer performed flawlessly . very pleased with it so far.

Basically OK but needs improvements
Mitsubishi SUV 4x4 is still far too noisy over 82Db on a coarse bitumen road and suspension like a truck. Still some wind noise from the mirrors, a slight improvement on the MY11. Hardly and cabin storage like the MY11 cut by 40% at least. Seat to hard for long trips. However the 2 that I have owned have been reliable so far. The interior is full of chrome that dazzles me when driving, the plastic black piano finish in the dash area is also reflective and attracts dust as it is quite static. Seat base not good for long trips especially if we ar...Read more
e slim. Performance is good and handling. 8 litres per 100ks approx. The Safety Pack would not be good on a driver-less car as it is fickle at times, we still need to be ready to brake when it changes it's mind.Purchased in January 2021 at Mitsubishi Frankston for $26,000.00.

Love our Outlander
Our Captiva broke down so had to purchase a new vehicle. After much research and consideration, we settled on the Outlander. It had everything we needed, reverse camera, parking sensors and 7 seats just to name a few, and for a great affordable price which was in our budget range! We've had our car for 6 months and we absolutely love it!

Perfect mid-size family car
We bought this car when we had to upgrade to fit three carseats in the back. This is the first new car we've had and it is divine. It is incredibly economical, the reverse camera is the shizz, and the pop-up seats (we have the 7-seater) have made it easy to take our kids' friends around when needed. Overall this car is great - not too big, not too small.
