I bought this watch for my eight-year-old daughter who wanted to start doing the bus run by herself.
Nearly every single function of the watch has given us grief and now after only one month of use - my daughter doesn’t even wear it anymore.
I set the watch to tracking frequency every 5 minutes and the watch went flat before lunch. I changed tracking to every 10 minutes and then 30 minutes. Watch again went flat before the day was over. I then had to change tracking to 60 minutes because this is the only way the watch is able to get through...the day. I set up ‘safe zones’ and the alarm goes off every 10 minutes saying that she’s left the safe zone when she was in fact asleep in her bed! The tracking function doesn’t work at all. It tells me that she is on the opposite side of town when she’s at school and things like that.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! It was delivered quickly, was easy to set up, worked as described and when I contacted them for something through their website my request was actioned by Andrew shockingly fast and without any messing around, 10/10 for customer service.
The company has been delightful to do business with and I will be recommending them whenever the opportunity arises :)

Poor app and product quality
Purchased the moochies watch from Kogan and my first experience setting it up was dreadful. Downloaded and installed the Android app to my phone. Attempted to pair the watch. It failed to pair. Then I tried to pair again and ended up with two watches paired. Pairing was successful on the third attempt. App crashed while I was using it. I then tried to call the watch from the app interface and the watch kept rejecting my calls. I tried calling from the watch to my phone and it worked ok. Tried calling from outside the app using the normal phone ...interface and it worked ok. Conclusion the app is buggy. The build quality of the product is not like the photos on any of the website. It is cheap plastic. Even the screen is plastic which will be all scratched after a very short time. The UI on the watch is very laggy and takes a long time to respond, something you don't expect in this modern age. Location does not seem as accurate as stated on their website. Call audio quality is also very poor. I regret purchasing this and will returning it for a refund. It is cheap quality which will not last more than a few months. There are much better watches out there.
Not suitable for everyone.
Bought a Moochie watch for my son with high hopes. Their website says it has GPS but this is a deception. It doesn't connect with Satellites as the name suggests but rather uses cell tower triangulation which is completely useless in an area that has poor reception and hardly any cell towers. On their website it clearly states, "Track your child at any time. Anywhere in the world." A straight up lie because it won't work in 95% of Australia. Their is no warning on their website that the watch requires a good voda phone network. If that was clea...rly mentioned I never would have bought one. I emailed them about my issues but because I purchased the item second hand they didn't even email back to me. Even though I believed I was purchasing the item brand new in box. They couldn't even confirm with me if that was the case or not. I just wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased. Item likely would be good in a good service area as it has not had any physical issues but almost none of the functions are reliable due to the poor reception.

Our Moochies is so perfect for my little boy!!! Tracking is always 100% accurate, both watch/app are incredibly easy to use and has given our family peace of mind - Highly recommend!

Quality not great for price
Area where watch band joins watch rusted out in less than one month (after getting wet once! Replaced through Kogan on warranty with no issues though, which was good, but did require a complete change of sim etc which was a pain). Extra band is a complete waste of money and is very poor quality compared to the main band. GPS location is sometimes great (within meters) and sometimes very poor (as in: across the other side of the state, or occasionally a different country altogether). The website lacks the functionality to change sims / delet...e sim plans and is not located at all in the app (which it should be). The “class-mode” functionality is set in 30 minute blocks which does not fit with our school. At one point, an alarm was set on the watch that we could not control in the app - again, full app control should be possible. For us, the two positives are that it states the best waterproof rating of any watch tracker for kids and that it has allowed us to communicate with our daughter when she is in times of high stress. Will I buy another for my son? Yes - but only if no other manufacturer has the same waterproof rating at that time. Otherwise, I’m jumping-ship.
Do your research, pay a little more for a lot better
I never post reviews but we've had a terrible experience - as it looks like many have. Worked great for a couple of weeks then as soon as we tried to connect to a different WIFI nothing would work properly. Apparently this is because I'm in Regional Victoria and we are 'black listed' however they allowed us to pay for and receive the watch to our home address. The run around to get to a refund was immense & I had to be quite horrible & pushy to get to a place where they stopped being defensive and actually tried to help. The multiple cut & p...aste defensive responses that repeatedly told us that we were 'doing it wrong' and all their bad reviews were from people who don't pay attention and are doing everything wrong.... please stop that. It's frustrating, time wasting and you end up admitting that your product isn't always suitable so please just be helpful! Certainly wouldn't recommend, we now have a Spacewalk that we are very happy with, and everyone we know with kids are also very happy with. Pay the extra to save the angst.

I bought this watch for my 9 year old Son as a Christmas gift, after setting the watch up for him he wanted to wear it but couldn’t switch it on as the function button had come off, I sent an email to inform the Support Team but nobody had replied so after a few weeks of waiting I sent another email and had a rapid, professional and efficient response from Andrew who was very supportive and friendly he told me to send the watch back and I will receive a new one, now I have one very happy Son :-)
On our 3rd generation of watch, more impressed each time. Can honestly say that they are constantly updating to iron out identified kinks. Customer service is second to none (Andrew is a legend!), couldn’t be more impressed. Our latest watch arrived 24 hours after purchased online and we’re already using it to video chat with friends overseas. Fabulous on every level :)

We are really happy with the Moochies watch we bought for our daughter. She loves having a phone and we love that it is safe. I got a watch for my son for Easter setting it all up was easy but just the gps isn’t working as we live in Glenorchy elanore place but it’s says he is on another street like on the other side if Glenorchy after hours trying to fix it I can’t any idea where it’s doing that
My grandson can receive both text and vocal messages but can’t listen to the vocal messages. I receive his texts and vocal messages and can hear him. It was working yesterday. How can we fix it?
Watch was working fine for 3 weeks and as of tonight it is saying detecting sim card and then says insert sim card. Not sure what is happening but this is the second moochie watch as the first was replaced as it was faulty. Please help! Should of paid the extra $100 and got the spacetalk
